I have been shopping these sales for ages and here is the quick rundown of what we have learned so far:

Sign up for the Navyist Rewards because that early access is a lifesaver for keeping your sanity.

Quality matters so look for specific lines like Old Navy Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans or Old Navy PowerSoft High-Waisted Leggings that wont fall apart after one wash.

Dont just wait for Friday... the best deals often pop up a week early or as random one-day flash sales! My biggest veteran tip tho? Check the clearance section even during the big sales. Sometimes they mark down seasonal stuff right before the BF rush starts and you can stack rewards points on top of it. I once snagged a bunch of Old Navy Dynamic Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie for almost nothing by doing that. Its all about the hunt! Seriously love seeing everyone helping each other out here.

@Reply #9 - good point! Honestly, this thread is basically a goldmine for anyone trying to save a buck. I've been thinking about this too because my kids are growing like crazy and I need to stock up soon. I think the real secret might be the rewards program. I'm not 100% sure if they are keeping the same structure for 2025, but IIRC, members usually get early access to the 50 percent off sitewide sale like a full week before the actual chaos starts. I've been super satisfied with just shopping online the week before and avoiding the stores entirely... it just works well for my sanity. No complaints about shipping times either, usually gets here pretty fast. Not sure if those super cheap doorbuster socks still happen every year, but someone told me they usually save those for the actual day. Worth double checking once we get closer to November tho!

Hey! I get the planning itch! Instead of focusing just on Black Friday itself, consider this from a long-term quality perspective. Over the years, I've noticed Old Navy's Rockstar jeans hold up *significantly* better than their basic denim. I’m talking years vs. months, even with kids. So, keep an eye out for Rockstar sales throughout the year. In my experience, paying a bit more upfront for the better quality will save you money in the long run. I usually find good sales on them around back-to-school as well. Hope this helps!

Hey! Totally get the Black Friday Old Navy obsession! I've been there, done that, got the matching family PJs... and unfortunately, learned a few things the hard way, lol.

Instead of solely relying on waiting for *the* Black Friday ad drop (which, let's be real, can be a total guessing game!), I've found WAY better deals popping up throughout November. Think of it like a marathon, not a sprint! Old Navy especially loves to throw random 'flash sales' and 'one-day-only' events leading up to the big day.

Here's my strategy that works better than hoping for the ad drop. Sign up for Old Navy email list. Old Navy app is the second. Third trick - and this is my personal favorite - create a 'wishlist' of everything you want NOW. That way you get notifications of price drops on *your* items, and you don't have to keep checking back over and over to see if something you like is on sale. This lets you take advantage of those early sales and you're not just looking at what's on sale - you're watching stuff you want! Also, Old Navy's website is better than the app for wishlist managment, or at least in my experience. I find the app a little clunky to navigate with their sales.

Honestly, I used to be glued to those leaked Black Friday ads, but I found that by the time Black Friday actually rolled around, the stuff I wanted was either sold out or the discount wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I actually *stopped* shopping on black friday and instead go in earlier and earlier each year. Seriously, I got jeans for like $8 each a week before Black Friday last year using that wishlist trick! Black Friday itself had a few deals, but I was already DONE and enjoying family time. So this is better than stressing about when the ad drops.

Hope this helps! Happy hunting, and may your cart be ever in your favor! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Instead of stressing about exact dates, I've found focusing on the *price per wear* is key. Last year, I bought a bunch of their basic tees thinking they were a steal at $5 each, but they shrunk after two washes! Ended up costing more in the long run. Now I look for stuff that'll last, even if it's a bit pricier upfront. Don't be afraid to check out their clearance section *before* Black Friday too; sometimes you find gems! Good luck scoring those deals!

Hey! I hear you on wanting to be prepared for Old Navy's Black Friday! While nailing down exact dates is tricky, I might suggest broadening your scope a bit beyond just Old Navy.

Over the years, I've noticed that stores like Gap (same company, often similar deals), or even Target and Kohl's, frequently have competing sales on similar items, especially for kids' jeans and basics. Sometimes the deals are even *better* than Old Navy's, or they have different stock available if Old Navy runs out of sizes. Be careful about focusing too narrowly on one store!

I would suggest checking those retailers' ads around the same time you're looking for Old Navy's – usually mid-November. Make sure to compare not just the discount percentage, but also the *final price* and return policies. Good luck snagging those deals!

Have you ever thought about how crowded Old Navy gets on Black Friday? Like, REALLY crowded? A few years ago, I went to the one near me, and it was… intense. People were pushing, grabbing at clothes… it wasn't fun. I actually saw someone trip and fall trying to get to a rack of sweaters! Be careful out there.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes if you go, and maybe try to go during off-peak hours if you can figure out when those are. I would suggest going with a friend so you can watch each other's backs, you know? Is it worth the risk? Maybe ordering online is a safer bet? Just a thought!

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience. Hope it helps! Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey! I totally get the Black Friday excitement! It's smart to plan ahead! Instead of just waiting for the ad, have you thought about using price tracking websites or apps? I've been trying them out, and they're pretty amazing! You can set alerts for specific items at Old Navy!

I think sites like CamelCamelCamel (I know, weird name!) or even just setting up Google Shopping alerts could be super helpful. They show you the price history, so you can see if a "Black Friday deal" is REALLY a deal, or if the price was lower before! Plus, you can get notified immediately when the price drops on what you want!

I'm also trying to track prices this year! I'm hoping to get some good deals, too! Good luck and maybe we can share our findings as Black Friday gets closer!
