I totally agree the sales data points to better value elsewhere but man, the industry as a whole is just infuriating lately! I have been tracking the material specs on these pieces for years and the decline in quality while the MSRP keeps climbing is just insane!! It drives me absolutely crazy when you analyze the actual metallurgical composition of what they are selling... you are basically paying a huge premium for a brand name on a piece of base metal alloy that tarnishes if you even look at it wrong! Its such a scam! I miss the days when you actually got high-grade materials instead of this mass produced junk that fails every durability test. Honestly its ridiculous that we have to hunt for black friday deals just to get the price down to what the raw materials are actually worth!! Just feels like nobody cares about craftsmanship anymore and it makes me so mad!!
