Have you considered slightly used tires from a reputable shop? I got a set of Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady tires for my old Corolla for around $300 installed. They had about 70% tread left, and they've been great for two years. It's a decent option if you're really on a budget. Just make sure to inspect them super carefully before buying. Better safe than sorry!

Hey there! Totally get the tire anxiety, especially with Houston's crazy weather. Instead of focusing *only* on Black Friday deals, I want to offer some brand insights. I haven't specifically tracked Cavender's Black Friday deals, but I *can* say that for your budget, you might want to consider looking at brands like Kumho or Falken. I ran Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S tires on my old Acura for about 3 years and got decent mileage out of them – around 35,000 miles, and they were pretty good in the rain. I think I paid around $100 a tire at the time. Kumho's Ecsta PA51 is another option, I hear good things about their wet grip. Be careful though, some cheaper brands wear down super fast, so make sure to check reviews. I would suggest checking Discount Tire or even Amazon for those brands. Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey there! I totally get the tire anxiety, especially with Houston's unpredictable weather. Black Friday *might* get you a deal, but in my experience, waiting often means risking worn tires longer. Instead of holding out for a specific sale, I'd suggest calling around to some smaller, local tire shops.

Over the years, I've found they often have better prices than the big chains, even without a sale. Places you've never heard of, or that look like they only work on commercial trucks! I'm not sure where you're located in Houston, but I've had good luck with " Tire & Wheel" near in the past. I got a set of decent Hankook tires for my old Corolla there for around $450 installed, and that was *without* any special promotion. Plus, they usually don't try to upsell you on extras you don't need. Give a few of those a call and see what quotes you can get. You might be surprised! Let me know if you need any more advice or recommendations.

Instead of waiting for Black Friday, have you considered checking out Tire Rack's closeout section? I grabbed a set of General AltiMAX RT43s for my old Acura a few years back for around $450, shipped. They lasted me almost 40,000 miles! Plus, they have reviews for Houston weather. It's worth a look now so you're not stuck waiting and driving on those tires. Any luck finding anything so far?

I haven't specifically tracked Cavender's Black Friday deals, but I *can* say I had great luck with Discount Tire last year. I ended up getting a set of Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S for my old Corolla (similar size to your Civic) for around $450, installed. They've been solid for the past year, even in some unexpected downpours. Maybe check them out too? Might be worth comparing prices. Good luck!

Hey everyone,

Anyone know if Cavender's usually has good Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales on tires? I'm really hoping they do in 2025 because my 2016 Honda Civic is screaming for new rubber. I'm trying to avoid driving in the coming winter months with these balding tires, especially with the amount of rain we get here in Houston.

I've been trying to stretch my budget and have been looking at some cheaper options online, but I'm not sure about the quality. I'm aiming to spend around $400-$500 for a decent set, and I really need them before December. I'm doing about 15,000 miles a year, so something durable is a must.

So, does anyone have experience with Cavender's Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals? Or any other tire recommendations for a Civic on a tight budget? Any advice is greatly appreciated, I'm really stressed about this!
