Honestly just saw this and had to jump in because I am so hyped for the 2025 drops! If you want better than 25 percent off you really gotta sign up for their UA Rewards program right now. It sounds basic but they give members early access to the 30 percent or 40 percent sitewide codes before the general public wipes out the stock. I am eyeing the Under Armour Curry 11 Basketball Shoes too and the tech in those is just amazing... that Flow outsole is so grippy but you gotta make sure you are buying direct so you dont get fakes from weird third party sites. For the cold weather gear definitely look for the Under Armour ColdGear Infrared Compression Mock. The infrared tech is a total game changer for heat retention because of the ceramic coating and it feels so much more reliable than the standard base layers. I usually find the best deals online at midnight on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving tbh because that is when the real inventory drops and you wont miss out on sizes. Stay safe and avoid those random clearance sites that look sketchy... stick to the official app for the best security and authentic gear!

Hey,

I’ll throw in a more **location + climate** angle, because that’s where I’ve *unfortunately* had issues with UA’s BF/CM stuff.

**Background:** I’m in the upper Midwest (think real winter, not “light jacket” winter) and have been doing UA Black Friday/Cyber Monday runs since like 2017. Every year I stock up on cold‑weather compression, baselayers, gloves, etc., plus a Curry pair or two.

**Why it matters:**
- UA’s **online promos are usually US‑wide**, but **inventory and usefulness are super regional**.
- In cold states, the good ColdGear / base 3.0–4.0 pieces sell out *before* the deepest discounts hit. By BF, my size is often gone or weird colors only.
- Outlet stores in cold regions usually get hammered earlier in November, so BF in‑store ends up being a wall of random sizes.

**What’s worked for me (2022–2024):**
- If you’re in a **cold climate** and serious about winter gear:
- Buy core pieces during earlier “friends & family” / 25–30% sales (Oct/early Nov).
- Use Black Friday for **accessories and past‑season** (balaclavas, beanies, midweight tops) where size isn’t as critical.
- If you’re in a **warmer climate** (South, West Coast): stores often still have a ton of ColdGear on BF/CM because people don’t need it as badly. I’ve literally gotten better ColdGear deals visiting family in Texas than at home in Minnesota.
- Currys: the **hottest current colorways** almost never hit the best BF discount in my size. Older colorways + odd sizes do. So I now:
- Grab my “must‑have” pair during a pre‑BF 25–30% sale.
- Gamble on a second “nice‑to‑have” pair on BF/CM if the price drops.

**Online vs in‑store (climate-wise):**
- In really cold regions: **online is usually safer** because local stores get picked clean for winter gear.
- In milder areas: **in‑store outlets can be gold** for heavy ColdGear on clearance that no one local needs.

So, if you’re somewhere that actually freezes hard, I’d *not* wait for some magical 40–50% off for your main cold‑weather compression. Unfortunately, by the time the price looks perfect, the stuff you actually want to wear in January is gone.

Hope this helps! If you share what region you’re in, you might be able to fine‑tune the timing a bit more.

Hey, late to the thread but I’ll come at this from a slightly different angle: **how to make your BF/CM haul actually last**, especially Currys + cold-weather compression.

If you’re planning to stock up on sale, it’s worth thinking about “service life” more than a few extra % off:

**1. Curry shoes (on or off court)**
- Only hoop in them indoors if you can. Outdoor asphalt eats the outsole fast, especially sale colorways that sometimes use softer rubber.
- Rotate pairs. In my experience, 2 pairs alternated every other session last *way* longer than running 1 pair into the ground.
- After runs, pull the insoles and let them air dry (no radiators, no direct heater blasts). Moisture kills cushioning and glues.
- Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth every few uses. Keeps traction and slows that “bald patch” in high-wear zones.

**2. Cold‑weather compression gear**
- Wash cold, gentle cycle, inside‑out, and skip fabric softener. Softener wrecks the wicking + elasticity over time.
- Hang dry only. The dryer is basically a slow death sentence for compression.
- If you grab multiples on sale, designate one set for heavier use (outdoor workouts, layering under rough shells) and keep another for gym-only. That’s stretched my UA baselayers to 4–5 winters.

**3. How this ties into BF/CM strategy**
If you do hit a good UA sale, I’d personally:
- Grab **2 pairs of Currys** instead of 1 and beat them slower with rotation.
- Double up on **your favorite compression pieces** now while they’re cheaper, then baby them with proper care.

So yeah, chase the discount, but if you treat them right, this one BF/CM buy can cover multiple seasons instead of just one.

Hope this helps! If you say which Curry model + exact compression line you’re eyeing, I can share more specific care tips (some of the fleece-lined stuff is a bit pickier).

Hey,

I’ll come at this from more of a *long-term ownership* angle than pure discount-hunting, since I’ve been buying UA stuff (including Currys and cold-weather compression) every Black Friday/Cyber Monday for ~6 years now.

**1. Understanding your real “best deal” (over time)**
From what I’ve seen, the *headline* discount isn’t always the best value long-term:
- **Signature shoes (Curry line):**
- BF/CM discounts on the **current Curry model** are usually modest (20–30%, sometimes excluded).
- Deeper cuts (40–50%+) usually hit **1–2 models behind** or unpopular colorways.
- In my experience, the slightly older Currys hold up **just as well**: I’ve got Curry 7s and 9s in rotation that are 3–5 years old, midsole still responsive, upper not blown out. No complaints.

So if you’re ok with last year’s model/color, it’s absolutely worth hunting the clearance section over the simple “X% off sitewide” banner.

**2. Compression + cold-weather gear: durability vs. price**
I’ve bought UA ColdGear compression tops/leggings during BF for years:
- My **ColdGear Mock** from 2019 still has solid compression, only minor pilling at friction points after tons of cold runs + machine washes.
- The **sub-40°F pieces** (the heavier base layers) are where you get the most long-term value; you don’t need many of them, and they last.

Because they age so well, I actually *prefer*:
- Grabbing them in **prior-season colors** at 40–50%+ off (usually in the outlet/clearance part of the site or UA Factory House stores).
- Versus chasing a 25–30% sitewide on this year’s color.

**3. Online vs in-store (from a wear-and-tear nerd)**
From a long-term usage POV, here’s how I’d play it:
- **Shoes – try in-store first** if possible, then buy where the deal’s best. Fit consistency on Currys is *good but not perfect* between models (Curry 7 vs 9 felt different on me), so getting the right size saves you from returns and weird break-in issues.
- **Compression – online is fine** if you already know your UA size. Their compression fit has been pretty consistent for me (M across multiple years). Once I locked that in, I just stalk online clearance + BF.

**4. Strategy I’d recommend for 2025**
If you want both Currys and cold-weather gear and you care about *total value over time*:
1. **Currys:**
- Target **previous model / unpopular colorways** in online clearance or UA outlets.
- Use BF/CM codes **on top of** markdowns if they allow stack (they sometimes do, sometimes don’t, but when it works… that’s the real win).
2. **Cold-weather compression:**
- Prioritize **ColdGear** and base layers in clearance with at least **40% off**; these will legit last you 3–5 winters if you don’t destroy them in the dryer.
- I’d be ok with a sitewide 30–40% for brand new stuff, but I’m much happier when I catch **older-season gear at 40–60%**.

So yeah, if you think in terms of cost-per-year of use, the “boring” clearance/older-season BF deals have honestly worked better for me than chasing a big sitewide % off on the very latest stuff.

Hope this helps! If you share which Curry model you’re eyeing, I can tell you how sizing/durability were for me across a few generations.

Hey,

DIY planner here too, so I totally get wanting to “work” the UA sales instead of just waiting for a big banner that says 40% off.

In my experience, the best way to beat the basic 20–25% is to treat it like a self-serve project:

1. **Build your own price baseline now** – Add the Curry pairs + compression gear to your UA wishlist and also to 1–2 comparison sites (StockX/GOAT for Currys, maybe Amazon or sporting goods sites for the base layers). That way you can see if UA’s BF/CM price is *actually* better.

2. **Stackable “DIY” discounts** – UA often lets you stack: sitewide % off + promo code + UA Rewards points. Start now: sign up for UA Rewards, check student/military/first responder discounts (if that’s you), and watch for random 15–20% codes via email/text. I’ve pre-saved codes and used them on top of BF sales in past years.

3. **Self-monitoring instead of rumors** – Set your own alerts:
- Google Alerts / browser extension (e.g. Honey, Rakuten, Karma) on the exact Curry model
- Follow UA’s main site + outlet site separately (outlet sometimes drops last-year Currys quietly before BF)

4. **Online vs in-store (DIY recon)** – If you’re near a UA Outlet, it’s worth one scouting trip in early Nov. Ask staff what they *usually* do on BF (they’ll often tell you the pattern, even if they can’t give specifics for 2025). Then you can decide if it’s worth lining up or just staying online.

If you wanna post the exact Curry model you’re eyeing, I can give you a more specific game plan on when/how I’d target it.

Hope this helps!

Hey, market-research nerd here, so I tend to look at this across brands rather than just UA.

If you compare the last 3–4 years, Under Armour usually lands in the **middle** of the big players on Black Friday/Cyber Monday:

- **Nike**: tends to be stingier on flagship stuff (like LeBrons, Jordans, etc.). Extra 20–25% off sale, but top models often excluded or barely discounted.
- **Adidas**: more aggressive on prior-season shoes (30–50% off) but current hype lines still guarded.
- **Under Armour**: usually more willing than Nike to **discount signature lines** (Curry, etc.) but not as deeply as their own apparel. Think: modest % off Currys + much heavier cuts on last-season clothing.

For your specific targets:
- **Curry shoes**: based on past years, I wouldn’t expect crazy % off *current* Currys from UA or from any competitor on their main lines. UA might do a small discount or bundle better than Nike does on current-signature shoes, but it’s rarely 40–50% off unless it’s previous gen/colorways.
- **Cold-weather compression gear**: this is where UA usually beats Nike in value. Nike/Adidas compression rarely hits the deep clearance levels UA does on prior-season colors. UA’s older ColdGear often goes 40–50%+ off, especially on .com and outlet.

Channel-wise:
- **Online**: more standardized % discounts (sitewide or category-wide) + stackable codes sometimes.
- **In-store/outlet**: better for “hidden” deals and weird sizes, especially for past-season compression. This pattern is similar across UA/Nike/Adidas, but UA outlets are usually more aggressive on winter gear once they commit to clearing it.

So, if your goal is *max discount*:
- Treat Currys like you’d treat Nike or Adidas signature lines: watch for modest % + maybe colorway-specific markdowns.
- Plan to go harder on the **compression pieces**, where UA historically undercuts Nike/Adidas in BF/CM pricing.

If you want, I can sketch a rough timing strategy (when to buy Currys vs when to wait on compression) based on how these 3 brands usually phase their promos.

Last year I grabbed Curry 11s and UA cold-gear tights during BF. The discount wasn’t insane (think ~30–35% on select stuff), but performance-wise I was really happy:
- Curry line: the better colorways and popular sizes barely dropped below that 30–35% range, and they sold out fast. Waiting for a huge markdown usually meant only weird sizes or less popular colorways left.
- Compression / cold gear: these actually hit better discounts later in the weekend / Cyber Monday, especially “last season” colors. Performance was the same though – I’ve been wearing both versions and honestly can’t tell a difference on the court or on runs.

So in my opinion, for performance items:
- **Shoes (Currys):** grab them if you see 30–35% off early, online. Going cheaper usually means limited sizes or you miss the color you want.
- **Compression gear:** you can gamble a bit more and wait for extra % off or clearance, because older colors perform just as well.

Lesson learned for me: I stopped chasing the absolute lowest price on the Currys and focused on getting the right size/color while they still had stock, then I used the “deeper” deals for base layers and accessories.

Hope this helps!

Hey,

I’m not as hardcore as some of the other folks tracking every UA sale, but I’ll throw in a slightly different angle: safety + reliability when you’re buying during the chaos.

**Background:** Black Friday/Cyber Monday is when UA (and pretty much every brand) gets flooded with traffic, resellers, and sketchy “deal” sites. When you’re eyeing Currys and compression gear you’ll actually train in, that stuff really matters.

**Why it matters:**
- Fake Currys and cheap compression knockoffs can mess with your feet/joints or cause chafing/skin irritation.
- Return windows and warranty can be tighter or more confusing on promo items.
- Stock glitches on big sale days = you think you got a size, then it’s cancelled days later.

**What I’d suggest:**
- **Stick to official or trusted channels**: underarmour.com, UA app, UA outlet stores, big retailers like Foot Locker/Dick’s. Be careful with random “50–70% off Under Armour” sites.
- **Check return policy before you pay** – especially if they say “Final sale” on Curry models or compression gear. You might want to size up/down, so make sure you can return.
- **Watch sizing and reviews in advance**: maybe try on Currys and compression in-store now, so when BF hits you can order fast without guessing.
- **Beware of too-good-to-be-true prices** on Currys (like 60–70% off current models) from unknown sellers. That’s usually where fakes pop up.
- **Screenshot promos and order confirmations** in case something goes wrong and you have to argue with support later.

As for your actual question: from what I’ve seen, the safest combo is:
- Use **UA’s site/app for sitewide codes** (even if it’s “only” 30–40%),
- Then check **legit retailers’ clearance** for past-season Currys.

Might not always be the absolute rock-bottom price, but it’s way safer if you care about real product + returns.

Hope this helps!

Hey,

I’ve been tracking UA BF/CM deals for like 6–7 years now (way too many leggings and hoodies to show for it 😅), so I’ll come at this from the strict budget/value side.

**Background (how UA usually plays it)**
In my experience, UA tends to split stuff into 3 “buckets”:
1. **Headline sitewide % off** (25–40% off most items)
2. **Exclusions / low-discount items** (new Curry models, collabs, some outlet-only SKUs)
3. **Extra % off sale/clearance** (this is where the real value is: extra 30–50% off already marked down stuff)

**Why this matters if you’re cost-conscious**
If you’re hoping for more than 20–25%, the big savings usually aren’t on the *brand-new* Curry colorways or latest cold-weather line. The deeper cuts hit:
- Past-season Curry models / older colorways
- Last year’s compression / base layers (basically identical performance-wise)
- “Weird” colors that nobody wanted but work fine under layers

**Practical strategy (what I actually do now)**
Here’s what’s worked best for my wallet over the years:

1. **Price track now**
- Check current prices on: UA site, UA Outlet, Foot Locker / Champs / Dick’s, and even Curry models on sites like Eastbay-type retailers (or whoever’s still around in 2025).
- Screenshot or note base prices so you know if BF is a *real* deal or just a fake “sale” on an inflated price.

2. **Plan two targets: “Must-have” vs “Nice-to-have”**
- **Must-have**: specific Curry model/color. Assume maybe **20–25% off max** for newest stuff.
- **Nice-to-have**: compression gear (open to last year’s line or colors). Expect **40–60% off total** if you stack clearance + extra promo.

3. **Watch the **week before** Black Friday**
- UA has done “early access” / “member” deals where prices are basically the same as BF, just less hype.
- Sometimes the best sizes vanish before actual Black Friday while everyone “waits for the big day”. I’ve lost my size more than once doing that.

4. **Online vs in-store (money angle)**
- **Outlet stores**: can be gold for compression gear. I’ve had trips where base layers were effectively 60–70% off after stacking outlet price + promo. Downsides: random sizes and colors.
- **Online**: better for specific Curry shoes and consistent promos. Usually cleaner percentage deals, plus stack with cashback.

5. **Stacking tricks**
- Sign up for UA emails/app beforehand – they sometimes drop an extra **10–15% off code** that still works on BF promos.
- Use Rakuten/TopCashback/etc – even an extra 5–10% back makes a “meh” 25% sale into something decent.
- Check if any **student/military/first responder** discounts stack (varies by year, but occasionally they do outside the main BF window).

**If you’re strictly chasing max value**
- For Currys: be flexible on model/color if you want >25% off. Newest release? Don’t expect miracles.
- For cold-weather gear: I’d personally **prioritize outlet + clearance + extra % off** over waiting for a big flashy “40% sitewide” banner.

No hard rumors yet for 2025 that I’ve seen, but if UA follows their usual pattern, the real budget wins will be:
- Extra % off sale/clearance online
- Outlet store runs for compression / baselayers
- Early-week deals that are basically BF pricing without the crowd

Hope this helps you game-plan it a bit. If you know which Curry model you’re eyeing, you can probably rough-guess how likely it is to get a deep cut.
