Im trying to plan this big trip for my brothers 30th birthday in late 2026 and we really want to hit a Cowboys game or maybe some huge stadium tour at AT&T Stadium around that time. Ive been staring at the SeatGeek app for days now and the prices are just stupid high right now. I know it sounds crazy early to be worrying about late 2026 but I really need to budget this out now since Im the one paying for three people and I need to know how much to shove into my savings.

So my logic was that I should probably just wait for the Black Friday deals because everyone always talks about those promo codes but then I started looking at how they did it in past years and its so inconsistent. Im torn between just pulling the trigger now to guarantee the specific section we want or holding out for a 15 percent or 20 percent off code that might not even work for "preferred" listings or whatever they call them. If I buy now Im looking at like 600 dollars easy for the trio but if I wait I might save 100 bucks which is a lot for me. But then what if the good seats are gone? My other thought was checking StubHub instead but their fees are usually way worse even when they have a sale going on so I keep coming back to SeatGeek.

Im getting so frustrated because the site doesnt actually list when the sale starts and I dont want to be refreshing my phone at 3am on a Friday morning for absolutely nothing. Does anyone know if they usually start the deals on the Monday of Thanksgiving week or is it strictly a Friday thing? I think I saw some people saying they got codes on Wednesday in previous years but I cant find anything solid and its driving me nuts. Like if I wait until Friday and the price jumps because of demand I am gonna be so mad at myself for not just buying them in October.

My budget is strictly 500 dollars total and Im already pushing it way past that. If the sale starts early I can jump on it but Im worried the deals are just for specific low-tier events and not the big games or concerts we are looking at. Does it usually drop at midnight EST or what...
