So I'm currently staring at my empty basement here in Chicago and thinking about finally pulling the trigger on a full power rack setup. I know it sounds crazy to be asking about 2026 Black Friday when we're still quite a ways out but my logic was that if I start saving now and tracking the cycles I wont get screwed by those shipping delays that always happen in November. Ive got about $2000 set aside specifically for a barbell, some bumpers, and a solid rack.

I was looking at Rogues Matte Black Friday stuff from the past couple years and it seems like they always start their shipping deals early, like maybe the first week of November? But then I saw a thread on Reddit saying that Rep Fitness has been moving their sales even earlier, maybe even late October for their VIP members or whatever they call them. The problem is I cant tell if those early sales are actually the best prices or if they're just clearing out old stock before the real doorbusters hit.

Like, is it better to wait until the actual Friday or are the 2026 pre-sales gonna be where the real inventory is? I really dont want to wait until the last minute and then find out everything is on backorder until 2027... that would be a nightmare. I also checked out some blogs that mention early access newsletters but half of those links just go to dead 404 pages or old 2024 promos so it's kinda hard to plan the timeline.

My gear list so far is basically:

a 3x3 power rack

maybe 300lbs of crumb rubber plates

an adjustable bench that wont wobble

a decent multi-use barbell

Has anyone seen any reliable trackers or specific sites that keep tabs on the 2026 cycle specifically? My plan is to get the big heavy stuff shipped all at once to save on freight but Im worried the early sales might not apply to the specific power racks Im eyeing. If I sign up for the mailing lists now am I just gonna get spammed for a year or is there a trick to getting those early bird codes for the high-end stuff? Just trying to map this out so I dont blow my budget on overpriced gear in July when I could have saved five hundred bucks by waiting...

Okay so I've been a distance runner for like ten years now and usually I have my Black Friday strategy down to a science. I normally just hit up the Saucony outlet or wait for the Brooks site to drop the older Ghost models to like 80 bucks but I'm hearing weird things about the 2026 stock. Apparently a lot of the mid-tier trainers are getting these huge price hikes even for the clearance stuff. My current pair of daily drivers is basically bald and I'm starting to get some weird shin splints which usually means the foam is dead. I'm trying to figure out if I should just bite the bullet now or if anyone knows if the 2026 BF deals are gonna be actually decent for once.

I've got a budget of maybe $300 to get two pairs of shoes and maybe some new compression tights since mine are literally falling apart at the seams. I saw some talk on a gear sub about Nike doing a massive warehouse clearout for their Alphafly line but that seems overkill for my daily 10k. My logic was that maybe I should pivot to some of the newer brands like On or Hoka but their sales are usually pretty stingy. Anyone seen early leaks for the 2026 sales or should I just stick to the tried and true outlets? Im really hoping I dont have to spend $180 per pair just because I waited too long...

I know that sounds like its way far away but I am starting a little garage gym here in Ohio and I only have about 400 dollars saved up so far so I need to be really careful with my spending.

My logic was that maybe these big companies like Rogue or Gymshark have a set schedule they follow every single year so people might already have leaks or whatever you call them. Sorry if this is a really stupid question I just dont really know how the fitness industry works with sales and I got totally lost looking at old spreadsheets. Do people actually know this far out or am I just being crazy...

Some blogs say Nike is gonna do 30% off the whole site but then I read on a forum that the high-end stuff like Alphaflys or even the new Pegasus 43 might be excluded from the promo codes. Then there's Adidas—I saw a early access link for Adizero stuff but the prices still look super high, like $180+. I only have about $150 to spend total. Does anyone know if they usually drop deeper discounts on the actual Friday or should I just bite the bullet now before my size sells out?

I have never really shopped for sneakers before and my current ones are literally falling apart at the seams so I need a new pair for walking and some light jogging.

I am on a really tight budget, like maybe $50 or $60 at the most which I know is not much but I am hoping a big sale makes it work. I live out in rural Ohio so I have to do all my shopping online and I am stressed about things selling out or getting the wrong size. Is it better to wait for the actual day or do they start early? I heard some people talk about 'drops' but I have no idea what that means or if I should even care. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just dont want to waste my money on something that isnt a good deal. Are there specific websites I should be watching or should I just go to the main brand pages? I really need to get this right so I have shoes that last me through the year...

Im trying to plan way ahead for my home gym setup because I want to save up enough to get some quality stuff without going into debt. Im specifically looking at the 2026 sales window because thats when my basement renovation in Ohio should finally be finished. Ive been poking around some old reddit threads and some blogs like Garage Gym Reviews and they keep saying that Black Friday isnt even a day anymore, its more like a whole month. Some brands like Rogue or Rep Fitness seem to start their Matte Black Friday or whatever they call it as early as November 1st, but then I see other people saying the best doorbusters dont actually drop until the actual Friday morning.

So I was thinking if I should be ready to pull the trigger on November 1st or if the deeper discounts happen later? My logic was that if I wait until the actual Friday, the stuff I want-probably a solid power rack and maybe a Concept2 rower-might be sold out. Ive got a budget of about 1500 dollars set aside for this. Since the shipping from some of these places is killer I am trying to time it when they maybe offer those rare free shipping deals. But yeah, do the 2026 sales usually follow that same early November trend or do they tend to shift later in the month? It's confusing because some years have more weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas than others...

I am honestly so fed up with Nike lately like every time I try to get a pair of shoes on the SNKRS app it’s just a giant waste of time and I end up staring at a "didn't get 'em" screen while the resellers already have them listed for double the price before the transaction even clears. It’s making me so mad because I’ve been loyal for like a decade but I think 2026 is the year I finally give up and switch to Adidas once and for all. Its just not worth the stress anymore.

I’m actually really excited about the change though because I’m finally graduating college in June 2026 and I’m planning to drop about $800 on a whole new wardrobe for my first real job in New York and for the gym since my current kicks are basically falling apart at the seams. My logic was that if I wait for Black Friday 2026 I can stretch that budget way further but now I’m stuck trying to figure out who actually gives the better deals when it matters. I dont want to save my money all year just to find out the discounts are total trash.

Like I was thinking back to the last couple of years and I remember Nike doing that extra 20% or 25% off but it was only on the clearance stuff that was already ugly or in weird sizes while Adidas seemed to have some pretty big sitewide percentages going on for everything. Or maybe I’m misremembering? I’m looking for the best bang for my buck because I need like three pairs of shoes and a bunch of tracksuits. Does Adidas usually have better stock during the big sales or is it just the same bot mess?

I really want a few pairs of Ultraboosts if they go low enough but I don't want to get my hopes up if they just exclude everything good from the sale like Nike does with the Jordans and the high end stuff. Nike feels like they’re getting stingier every year and honestly it’s just exhausting trying to be a fan of them anymore so I’m leaning towards the stripes but I need to know if the 2026 discounts are actually gonna be worth the wait...
