Ngl Cyber Monday has been a bit of a letdown for me lately. I tried snagging a card last cycle and the experience was just not as good as I expected... orders got delayed and the 'deals' were barely $20 off MSRP. For someone in rural Montana, you really gotta be careful about shipping fees too. I had a nightmare trying to return a dead card to a marketplace seller once and it was just a total mess. If you want to stay safe and hit that $700 budget for 1440p, try these:

Adorama. People forget they sell computer hardware but they're reliable and usually dont have the same bot issues.

Look for the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB GDDR6X since it fits tiny cases perfectly.

Maybe the MSI Ventus 2X GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB GDDR6X for a solid dual-fan setup. Just avoid those random third-party sellers... it's just asking for trouble.

Whoa, planning for 2026 already?? I love the dedication! Honestly, Cyber Monday is still the best time to snag a deal if you know where to look. I've been building PCs since the early 2010s and the landscape definitely changes every year, but some things stay the same. Buying for SFF and rural shipping is tricky tho! Here is my breakdown for what to watch when the time comes:

Best Buy: This is my top pick for you. Their shipping is actually super solid for rural spots and they handle returns way better than Newegg. They always stock the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Founders Edition 12GB GDDR6X which is a perfect dual-slot SFF beast for 1440p! Plus, you dont deal with those sketchy Amazon third-party sellers that always send a box of rocks lol.

B&H Photo Video: Honestly, these guys are sleepers for PC parts. They usually have amazing customer service and their shipping is fast as heck even to the middle of nowhere. Look for things like the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super OC Edition 12GB GDDR6X there. They sometimes have flash sales that totally crush Newegg price-wise.

Newegg: Yeah, people complain about returns, but for pure price? They still win a lot. Just make sure the item says Sold and Shipped by Newegg and you will be totally fine! Their Shell Shocker deals on stuff like the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Twin Edge OC 12GB are usually unbeatable for high refresh gaming. Shipping to Montana might be a pain, but B&H and Best Buy are definitely the most reliable for that. Dont give up on Cyber Monday just yet, its still fantastic for mid-range cards!

Honestly trying to plan ahead for my next build is giving me a massive headache and i just cant decide where to pull the trigger when 2026 finally rolls around. I've been reading some old threads saying Newegg is the king of Cyber Monday because of their shell shocker deals but then half the comments are people complaining about their return policy being a nightmare if you get a dead card on arrival. Then I checked Best Buy and people say they are better for actual MSRP stuff but their stock sells out in like two seconds flat so what is even the point if I cant click fast enough.

Im trying to hit these specific targets:

Budget is strictly under $700 for the card itself

Must fit in a small form factor case (dual fan only probably)

Need it for 1440p high refresh gaming

Needs to be from a place with decent shipping to rural Montana because some retailers charge a fortune for heavy boxes out here

I really dont want to get scammed by some third party seller on Amazon either which seems to happen every holiday season lately. Does anyone actually know which sites have historically had the deepest discounts on the mid-to-high end stuff without the wait in line for 5 hours nonsense? Or is Cyber Monday just a total bust for GPUs now...
