TL;DR: Hit up Turo for specific performance specs or check Sixt for some actual German engineering. Wait, where exactly are you driving? If you are hitting mountain passes or just cruising the flat highway it totally changes the gear you need! Ngl $400 is tight for Thanksgiving week but you can still find gems if you look at the specs instead of just the price tag. Personally, I love Sixt Rent a Car BMW 3 Series because their fleet usually has those 2.0L turbocharged engines with way better handling than a generic sedan.

Pros: That ZF 8-speed transmission is amazing, plus solid torque.

Cons: Can get pricey with insurance. Otherwise, check out Turo Car Sharing Tesla Model 3 if you want that instant electric torque and basically zero fuel costs!

Pros: 0-60 is basically a rollercoaster, tech is fantastic.

Cons: Charging can be a pain if you are in the middle of nowhere. Lmk about the terrain and I can check some power-to-weight ratios for you! Honestly love nerding out on this stuff.
