Anyone have an idea what the best luxury deals are gonna look like for the SSENSE Cyber Week in 2026? I've been saving up for months because I really want to snag a Lemaire Croissant bag for my sisters graduation gift and maybe some Margiela Tabis for myself if the price is right. My budget is capped at about $1500 for both which feels tight but doable if the discounts are deep enough.
I did some digging on old forums and saw people saying that SSENSE usually starts at 50% off for the public sale but then I read a different blog post that said the Private Sale actually has the better selection of essentials and the 70% off markdowns don't really happen until much later in December. It's kinda confusing because if I wait too long everything in my size usually disappears within minutes. Im in Vancouver and usually the local stock goes fast even though their warehouse is right here in Canada.
Should I just pull the trigger the second the first wave of discounts hits or is it worth holding out for the Cyber Monday specific drops? I also heard they might be changing how they do the tiered discounts this year but I havent seen anything official yet.

Late to the thread but quick question: are you set on the leather ankle boots, or would you consider Tabi flats? In my experience, the boots rarely drop low enough to fit a $1500 budget with the bag. Over the years, I've saved a ton by opting for:

Ive been doing the SSENSE dance for years and the private sale works well for me every time. If you see that Lemaire Small Croissant Bag Dark Chocolate hit 30% off, just grab it.
- Use your wishlist to monitor drops
- Buy Maison Margiela Tabi Ankle Boots Black Leather during the first wave Waiting for 70% off is a gamble that doesnt work for hype pieces. Im always satisfied locking them in at 40%.
