Which sports brands actually have the best deals for Black Friday shoes because I really need to figure this out before 2026 rolls around? I am completely lost when it comes to this stuff and honestly it is so confusing with all the different companies like Nike or New Balance or whatever. I have never really shopped for sneakers before and my current ones are literally falling apart at the seams so I need a new pair for walking and some light jogging.
I am on a really tight budget, like maybe $50 or $60 at the most which I know is not much but I am hoping a big sale makes it work. I live out in rural Ohio so I have to do all my shopping online and I am stressed about things selling out or getting the wrong size. Is it better to wait for the actual day or do they start early? I heard some people talk about 'drops' but I have no idea what that means or if I should even care. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just dont want to waste my money on something that isnt a good deal. Are there specific websites I should be watching or should I just go to the main brand pages? I really need to get this right so I have shoes that last me through the year...

I've been really satisfied with ASICS for years now. If you're looking for that $50 sweet spot, keep an eye out for the ASICS Gel-Excite 10 Road Running Shoes. They are super solid for walking and wont fall apart, tbh. Their official site usually has great shipping to rural areas. Just check a few days before Black Friday because the sales usually start early. Sizing is pretty standard so dont sweat it too much.

Building on the earlier suggestion, Reebok is decent but unfortunately their recent durability has been a letdown for me. I had issues with the soles peeling after just a few weeks of walking around my neighborhood. If you're stuck with $60, you gotta be careful. Most big brands use Black Friday to dump their lower-tier stuff that feels like cardboard. Skip the Nike hype... those deals are mostly fake or for ugly colors nobody wants anyway. Look at these instead:
- Saucony Cohesion 17 Road Running Shoe
- Under Armour Charged Assert 10 Training Shoe Honestly, Saucony is way more consistent with their foam. Under Armour is good too but runs small, so order a half size up. Definitely check their official sites the Monday before the actual holiday. If you wait until Friday, the common sizes like 9 or 10 will be totally gone... it's super frustrating.

Honestly, I used to be in the same boat, just buying whatever was cheapest until my feet started killing me. A couple years ago I decided to wait for the Black Friday sales to get something better, and I ended up going with Reebok. I have been really satisfied with how their stuff holds up for the price. They usually do these massive site-wide sales where basically everything is like 50% off, so you can easily find a solid pair of walking shoes for under $60. I live in a small town too, so I do all my shopping on my phone. The Reebok site is pretty easy to navigate and I didnt even wait for Friday... I think I ordered them the Tuesday before because the deals always start early now. Just stick with a brand like that or maybe Asics and you should be totally fine for what you need.
