My 6900XT just started throwing weird artifacting errors even after a fresh DDU and rolling back drivers so now im stuck with this paperweight. Ive been building rigs since the FX-6300 days but this market is just garbage right now. I was looking at the 7900 XTX but prices havent dropped like they should have in my region. Im basically debating if I should just limp along on an old backup card until the RX 8000 series hits the shelves and wait for those Cyber Monday 2026 deals but that feels like an eternity.

• use case: heavy 4k rendering and some VR sim racing
• location: EU (prices are insane)

Should I just cave and buy now or is the RDNA 4 jump actually gonna be worth that huge wait? Im so done with these prices...
