Anyone know what kind of deals Famous Footwear usually has for Black Friday? Looking to spend around $50 per pair.

Honestly? For driving shoes, skip Famous Footwear. Over the years, I've found dedicated driving shoes make a HUGE difference. Sparco racing shoes might be a bit over budget, but check their clearance section. In my experience, proper pedal feel improves safety more than you'd think. Consider it an investment!

Honestly, for grip, I'd skip Famous Footwear. Unfortunately, their soles don't meet track standards, impacting pedal feel. Had issues with their 'grip' during autocross. Not as good as expected. Instead, check out racing shoes. Sparco Terra's ergonomic design improves response. $150 is worth it.

Honestly, check clearance racks first. Dr. Martens 1460s are durable but pricey. Expect to pay $100+, unfortunately.

Black Friday shoe deals are tempting, but consider driving shoes instead. Footwear impacts pedal feel and control. Slippery soles are a hazard! I once nearly rear-ended someone due to thick-soled boots. Be careful with discounts; make sure they offer good grip. Sparco racing shoes might be overkill, but prioritize safety. I would suggest proper driving shoes over cheap deals any day.

Sketchers often discount deeply; compare their Black Friday prices to Vans. Durability varies.

Forget Famous Footwear for driving shoes, especially around here with the winter salt. Consider winter boots instead. Baffin usually has decent sales; check their website. A good pair will last years and protect your car's carpets. I'd suggest spending a bit more initially; $80 is worth it for durability against our climate.

Instead of Famous Footwear, check out DIY shoe repair kits online. $20 buys you materials to resole a pair or two yourself. Decent option if you're handy!

I've had decent luck with Skechers. They last a season or two. Depends on wear, though.

Forget shoes. Get performance driving shoes! Sparco racing boots are ~$150, but the pedal feel difference is worth it. Improved heel-toe shifting, guaranteed.

Forget shoes, folks. Black Friday's prime for tire deals! Unfortunately, cheap tires are often…well, cheap. Had issues with off-brands degrading quickly. Check Tire Rack; sometimes they have Michelin Defender LTX M/S on sale. Proper tread depth is crucial for winter safety – get it checked. Not as good as expected and I'd advise professional installation for optimal performance.
