To add to the point above: I would suggest being super cautious about where you actually click. Last year I spent weeks hunting for a specific leather version and finally found a massive discount on a site that looked legit. Turns out it was a total scam and I had to cancel my credit card.
- Always verify the URL before you put in your info. These scam sites get really good around November.
- Make sure to read the fine print on returns. A lot of those deep discounts at the big department stores are final sale, so if it shows up with a stitch out of place, you are basically stuck.
- I would suggest checking the warranty terms. Some retailers have different rules for sale items and you dont want to be left hanging if a handle pops off in six months.
- Keep an eye on shipping times too. One time my order took like six weeks to arrive because they oversold their stock during the rush.
