Im honestly starting to freak out a little bit because Im trying to plan this massive renovation for my basement in early 2027 and I need to know if I should be setting aside $5,000 or like $8,000 for the tech part of it. I know it sounds crazy to look this far ahead but my logic was that if I could find even a hint of the 2026 flyers I could budget better. I found this one site claiming to have 'insider dates' for Best Buy and Walmart but then I read on a different forum that those are just placeholders based on 2024 data so now Im just lost.

I really need to know if the high-end 98 inch screens are gonna be part of the doorbusters or if they usually stay full price until the Super Bowl. I saw a post saying retailers are changing their whole strategy for 2026 to focus more on subscription bundles instead of hardware discounts which sounds like a nightmare for me. Im in Chicago and trying to avoid those massive delivery fees by doing a store pickup but I gotta know what to save for. Has anyone seen any actual leaked spreadsheets or even just like internal memos about the 2026 holiday roadmap? I feel like I'm hunting for ghosts and the anxiety of not knowing the price points is killing me...

Love the energy! I snagged my huge Samsung Q90C 98-inch Neo QLED TV way below retail by ignoring fake flyers.

  • watch Super Bowl sales
  • check open-box inventory Budgeting 5k is safer tho!

Wow I love the dedication to planning! Its totally normal to feel that itch to get everything perfect for a big basement reno. Honestly tho, any site claiming to have 2026 flyers right now is totally pulling your leg. Its way too early for actual internal memos to leak because the manufacturers havent even announced the 2026 lineups yet! Stay away from those sketchy sites because theyre usually just phishing for data and its not worth the risk. For a massive 98 inch screen, you should definitely aim for the $8,000 budget just to be safe. Here are some amazing pieces to track for price trends:

  • Look at the Samsung 98-Inch Class QN90D Neo QLED 4K as a benchmark.
  • The Sony Bravia XR 98-Inch X90L 4K Full Array LED is fantastic for movies.
  • Dont forget a Sonos Arc Soundbar with Dolby Atmos for the sound. Its gonna look amazing when its done! Just play it safe and budget high so you arent stressed when the real deals finally drop.
