Looking for insights on JCPenney's Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals this year (2024)! Has anyone spotted their holiday sales preview yet? Last year they offered up to 60% off across departments, but I'm wondering if they'll go bigger for 2024. Particularly interested in their kitchen appliances, bedding, and winter fashion discounts. Anyone have experience with their doorbusters from previous years? Also curious about their online vs in-store differences - is it worth braving the crowds? Planning to compare their deals with other major retailers. Thanks for any tips!

It gets wild. I've been hitting up the JCP sales for like a decade now and honestly... it can be a bit of a gamble if you arent careful. One year I rushed in for a doorbuster set. The quality was just kinda meh. You might want to consider checking the fabric weights on their bedding before committing because sometimes the holiday specials feel a bit thinner than the standard stock. Just my two cents from years of trial and error. A few things I've learned:

  • In-store gets chaotic early, but thats where the mystery coupons usually are.
  • Online usually has way better stock for specific sizes or colors.
  • Watch the original prices because they sometimes inflate them right before the sale hits. If you're looking at kitchen gear, I'd say just grab anything from Cooks Kitchenware if you want decent value for money, or go with Home Expressions Bedding for the guest room. Honestly, just stick to the house brands and you'll probably be fine, just dont expect high-end luxury at those prices. I'd suggest checking the return policy too because they've been getting a bit stricter lately...
