I have been collecting Adidas for years and usually I have the release calendar down to a science but I am trying to plan way ahead for a huge event. My brother is getting married in late 2026 and I really want to gift the whole wedding party some matching Sambas or maybe some Ultraboosts if I can find a good deal. I am looking at a total budget of around $800 for about six pairs so hitting a real Black Friday sale is kinda critical to make the math work.
Usually they do that 30% or 40% off sitewide thing but I noticed their stock levels and exclusions apply list has been getting way longer lately. I am starting to worry they might move away from those deep discounts by then to protect the brand value or whatever. I know it sounds crazy to ask about 2026 already but has anyone who follows the industry trends heard anything about them scaling back the holiday promos for the next couple years? Just trying to figure out if I should buy pairs as I see them on sale now and stash them in my closet or if I can actually bank on that November 2026 window to save a few hundred bucks on the bulk order...

I have been doing the holiday bulk buy thing for years and honestly, it usually works out well if you are flexible on the specific colorways. Last year I managed to snag a full set of Adidas NMD_R1 Primeblue for my cousins at about $75 a pop by jumping on the early access deals. It was super satisfying to see the total drop so low in the cart when I hit checkout. From what I have seen tracking their inventory lately, those big sitewide sales always exclude the most popular OG colorways of the Sambas because they are just too high-demand. If you are worried about that 2026 window, you might want to look at the Adidas Gazelle Sneakers or even the Adidas Forum Low Shoes as backups. They often have much better stock levels and actually get the full 40 percent discount applied instead of being on the exclusion list. Technically, the best move is to be an adiClub member. They have been shifting the deep discounts to the app members first for a while now. By the time the general public sees the 40 percent off, the common sizes are usually toast. I wouldnt wait until the absolute last minute tho... start watching the end-of-season sales in July 2026 too. Sometimes those mid-year clears are actually better than Black Friday because they are desperate to empty the warehouse for the winter stock. I have had great luck grabbing Adidas Ultraboost Light Running Shoes for way under retail during those summer drops.

Honestly, I did something similar last year and I was so satisfied with how it turned out. I wanted to gift my local running group some Adidas Ultraboost 1.0 Running Shoes but didn't want to risk Black Friday stock issues. Instead of waiting, I just bought them gradually over six months whenever a random sale popped up. My main tip is to just buy them now when you see a discount. Adidas keeps adding exclusions to Black Friday, especially for popular stuff like the Adidas Samba Classic Sneaker. Stashing them away worked well for me and kept me way under budget with no complaints. Waiting until the last minute in 2026 is just begging for size out-of-stocks.
