So my son is starting his middle school basketball league in early December and he has literally grown out of every single piece of Under Armour gear we bought him last year. I am freaking out a little bit because I have a strict $220 budget for everything he needs:
- new Curry shoes
- at least 3 pairs of shorts
- a coldgear base layer top
- some of those thick crew socks
Our gym is basically a freezer so the base layer is a must. I started looking online and I saw some people on TikTok saying the Under Armour outlet website is the place to be, but then I read this old forum post saying the best deals are actually the friends and family coupons they email out in mid-November.
I'm so confused because another site said Kohl's actually has better UA clearance than the actual UA store if you use Kohl's cash? Like, how am I supposed to track all that? I live about two hours away from the nearest physical outlet mall in Columbus and I really dont want to drive all that way and spend the gas money just to find out the online prices were the same or better. Plus I'm hearing 2026 stock might be low because of those shipping delays everyone is talking about. I really need to get this right before the season starts. Does anyone know where the absolute deepest discounts are gonna be for November 2026 or if there is a specific day I should wait for? I'm terrified of buying everything on a Tuesday and then seeing a massive price drop on Friday...

Just seeing this now. I've spent years hunting these deals and honestly, that Columbus outlet is a toss-up. I compared Under Armour Curry Splash 3 Basketball Shoes at the outlet vs Kohl's, and Kohl's had better stock. The Under Armour UA Resistor 3.0 Crew Socks are also cheaper in Kohl's multi-packs. Outlets are better for shirts, but for shoes and socks, retail clearance is a decent option.
