Do we think the high-end GPU prices are actually gonna crater for Black Friday 2026 or should I just buy sooner? Im saving up for a massive 4k build for my home office in Austin and Ive got about $1800 set aside just for the card.

I was reading some tech blogs saying the next gen cycles might push the 5090 or 60 series prices down by then but then other people on reddit say that Nvidia is just gonna keep prices high because of the AI demand taking up all the manufacturing. Its super confusing lol. Im so hyped to finally get a top-tier rig after using this crusty laptop for four years but dont want to wait another year if the savings are only like fifty bucks...

Waiting until 2026 for a price crater might leave you disappointed. Im very satisfied with current performance levels.

  • Flagship cards like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X dont usually see deep discounts.
  • AI demand keeps manufacturing costs high.
  • A ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 Super Trinity 16GB works well for 4k and offers great value today compared to waiting years for a tiny saving tho.
