Hi everyone, I'm eager to stock up on my favorite Now Food supplements and baby care products during the upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales on iHerb for 2024. I'm particularly interested in getting a good deal on Now Food's fish oil and baby-friendly items. Has anyone spotted any early deals or have insider info on what to expect? Please share any tips or wishlist items you're hoping to snag!
Honestly, I’ve been looking at the current promo and it’s kinda disappointing compared to what they used to do. I’ve been tracking prices for a few months now because I’m a bit of a nerd about these things, and IIRC the discounts this year aren’t hitting the same way. Not sure if it’s just inflation or what, but some of the stuff in my cart actually went up right before the sale started... it’s a bit frustrating. I think I saw some folks on another board saying the stacking rules changed too, so you cant combine the 25% off with other rewards like you could in 2023. Had some issues with shipping costs creeping up during the checkout process too, which makes the savings feel a bit fake. Still, iHerb is usually reliable for quality, so its worth a look, just dont expect the massive steals we saw back in the day. Keep an eye on the actual unit price rather than the slash mark through the old price!

ngl iherb has been getting kinda sneaky lately with their price fluctuations. ive been tracking these cycles for years and seen the same pattern over and over again... basically they push a massive site-wide banner but then exclude half the brands you actually want in the fine print. in my experience the best way to not get ripped off is using a price history tool or even just keeping a simple spreadsheet of the price-per-unit for your regulars. certain brands often have fixed margins so if you see a massive discount claim its usually based on an inflated msrp that nobody ever actually pays. one big warning tho... be super careful with those deep discounts on items that are sensitive to shelf life. sometimes stores use black friday to clear out old stock thats nearing its expiration date. if the potency is dropping because it has been sitting in a warehouse for 18 months then even a big discount isnt really a deal. always check the batch dates when your box arrives because expired supplements are basically a waste of money.
