Better to spend the full budget on a brand that focuses on panel longevity. My older sets from those brands are still kicking while the budget ones I bought for the bedroom died ages ago.

LG's NanoCell tech offers great color accuracy. For $800, consider a 55" Sony X90J. Its full-array local dimming drastically improves contrast ratios, crucial for 4K content.

LG's great, but check TCL's 6-Series! Rtings.com gives them amazing marks for the price. I snagged a 55" last year; color accuracy blew me away for around $600!

Be careful mounting! Heavy TVs can fall. Make sure the wall mount is rated for at least 75 lbs.
