Are Adidas Black Friday 2026 discounts worth waiting for this year?

I’m really confused about how these sales work so sorry if this is a dumb question but I’ve been looking at some Adidas Ultraboosts for my new gym class in November. My budget is like $80 max and right now they're way over that.

So I was thinking maybe I should just wait for Black Friday 2026? My logic was that they’d have like half off or something crazy but I have no idea where to start checking if they actually do that or if it’s just a marketing thing. Do they actually drop prices that low or am I just wasting time waiting? I really need them before December 1st...

Waiting is usually the play if youre on a budget, tho hitting $80 for Adidas Ultraboost Light Running Shoes is pretty tight. It works if you arent picky about colors.

  • Check the outlet section on their site right now
  • Use member early access to get them before Dec 1st
  • Older models like Adidas Ultraboost 1.0 DNA Shoes are a decent option for that price range...

> Do they actually drop prices that low or am I just wasting time waiting? Honestly, hitting $80 for current gen Boost tech is a stretch. Ive been tracking these SKUs for a decade and usually Black Friday is about moving stagnant stock. The Adidas Supernova Rise Dreamstrike+ Running Shoes actually uses a PEBA-based Dreamstrike+ foam which is way more consistent than the old pellet-based Boost anyway. I remember testing the first gen stuff back in 2013 and the temperature sensitivity was a nightmare... modern compounds are way better. If you need that energy return, check out the Adidas Solarglide 6 Road Running Shoes. They use a LEP 2.0 system (Linear Energy Push) which gives you that snap you're looking for without the massive MSRP. If they hit 40% off during the member early access window in mid-November, youll hit your budget. The flagship Ultraboosts usually bottom out around $110 unless its a weird neon colorway nobody wants.
