Are Nike or Adidas deals better for Cyber Monday 2026?

Look I really need to figure this out tonight because my old Pegasus are literally falling apart and I start my marathon prep in like two weeks here in Chicago. I have about 150 bucks to spend and really want to stretch that into two pairs of runners if I can but I'm stressed about missing the best window. I was looking at some leaks on those deal subreddits and it sounds like Nike is planning a flat 30 percent off for members again like they did last year but then I saw a post saying Adidas is gonna do an extra 40 percent off their already discounted outlet stuff. The problem is Adidas sizing is so weird for me and their site always crashes when the good stuff drops so I dont know if its worth the gamble or if I should just lock in the Nike deal as soon as it goes live on Sunday night. Some people say the Adidas 'up to 70 percent' is just for like neon yellow clothes no one wants while Nike actually discounts the shoes people use. Does anyone know if Adidas actually puts the Ultraboosts or the Adizero line on those deep sales or is it just fluff? I need to pull the trigger tomorrow morning before the sizes sell out... which brand usually has the better actual stock for Cyber Monday?

I've been hunting these Cyber Monday drops for over a decade now and honestly the Nike vs Adidas debate comes down to how much you enjoy stress. If you need two pairs for 150 bucks, you're gonna have a way easier time with Nike because their stock actually holds up for more than five minutes. Adidas is notorious for showing a 70% discount on the Adidas Adizero Boston 12 only for you to find out they only have size 4 and 16 left in stock. Over the years, I've noticed a few patterns that might help you decide:

  • Nike almost always includes the core runners like the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 in that 30% member discount, so you can usually snag them for around 90 bucks or less.
  • Adidas usually reserves the massive 40% extra outlet codes for older colorways. If you want something like the Adidas Ultraboost Light, you'll find them for cheap, but only if you're okay with those neon colors you mentioned.
  • The Adidas site usually dies right at midnight. It's basically a tradition at this point. Directly speaking, if your Pegasus are toast and you're starting a block, stick with Nike. You'll actually get the shoes you need without the headache. Trying to squeeze two pairs out of 150 is totally doable if you hit the Nike clearance section then apply the Cyber Monday code on top of the existing markdowns. I've scored two pairs of the Nike Rival Fly 3 doing exactly that for like 110 total in the past. It's the safer play for a marathon build.

@Reply #1 - good point! Nike's inventory is just way more reliable. I once scored two pairs of the Nike Winflo 11 and they were fantastic workhorses for my last marathon block! I love it when the member discount stacks on clearance shoes.

  • Grab the Nike Vomero 17 if you want that premium ZoomX foam feel.
  • Use the Nike app at midnight to beat the rush!
