Anyone have any intel on what their Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales might look like in 2024? I've been eyeing some gear and wondering if it's worth waiting for the deals. How were their discounts in previous years? Do they usually offer site-wide discounts or only select items? Any chance of significant markdowns or special offers? Would love to hear your thoughts or past experiences so I can plan accordingly. Thanks in advance!

i am actually in the exact same boat right now. spent some time today looking through the specs of my current setup and trying to cross-reference previous price drops. honestly i am very satisfied with the longevity of the pieces i already own... the tri-blend fabric works well and i have no complaints about the pilling or structural degradation even after a year of heavy use. it is a bit of a challenge trying to find a consistent pattern in the 2024 data points tho. i have been monitoring the site for any changes in the metadata but nothing has moved yet. basically i am just commiserating because i also want to make sure the timing is right before i commit to any more gear. just waiting for some concrete info to surface so i can finish my analysis...

Just found this thread and honestly, regarding what #2 said about "Check their home page.", that is basically the gold standard for info, but the historical data tells a bigger story. I have been tracking these sales for a few years and comparing the technical specs to other high-end brands like Free City Super-Vip Sweatpants Midweight Cotton. Basically, the thread so far is saying keep an eye on the site and that the tri-blend quality holds up, which I totally agree with. In my experience, here is how the data usually shakes out:

  • Site-wide discounts usually hover around 20 percent, occasionally hitting 30 percent if you are lucky.
  • Stock levels for popular sizes like Medium or Large drop by about 60 percent within the first 48 hours of the sale.
  • My current setup has a much higher stitch density than the Lululemon City Sweat Pullover Hoodie French Terry I used to wear, which explains the price floor. I learned the hard way last year that waiting for a better deal is a total gamble. I was eyeing a specific neon colorway and figured I would wait for Cyber Monday to see if they added an extra 10 percent off. Big mistake... it sold out in my size by Sunday night. I ended up with a color I liked way less just to get the discount. Now I just pull the trigger as soon as the initial code goes live. It isnt worth saving an extra ten bucks if the gear you actually want is gone.
