Has anyone heard anything about NAADAM’s Black Friday 2025 plans yet? I’m trying to hold off on buying a couple of their cashmere sweaters and maybe a coat, but only if the discounts will actually be worth it.

If you’ve shopped NAADAM Black Friday before, what kind of deals did they usually run (percentage off, sitewide vs select items, final sale, etc.)? And do sizes/colors sell out quickly? I’m basically trying to decide: buy now or wait for Black Friday 2025 and risk things selling out. Any insights or past experiences you can share?

coming back to this after reading through everyone's points... basically the consensus is that naadam black friday is a bit of a letdown. you guys are totally right about the good stuff selling out or being excluded, leaving only the weird colors on final sale. unfortunately i gotta add a technical warning because the fiber quality has definitely dipped lately. looking at the specs, they seem to be using shorter staple lengths now. recent purchases have had way more pilling than my older pieces from a few years ago. if you are looking at the NAADAM Cashmere Zip Hoodie or any of the newer seasonal drops, just be careful. those shorter fibers mean the sweater basically starts disintegrating after a few wears and wont look good for long.

  • final sale is a huge risk with their inconsistent sizing
  • pilling is a nightmare on the lower micron counts
  • site-wide usually has a massive list of exclusions in the fine print it is honestly a bummer that the quality isnt as good as expected anymore. being cautious before dropping a lot of cash on final sale items is probably the smartest move right now.

I just saw this thread and I definitely agree with the point about buying based on when you actually need the clothes. To add to that, I think its worth looking at how their different pieces work together because fit compatibility can be an issue. IIRC, some users mentioned that their coats have fairly slim armholes, which makes it hard to layer them over the heavier knit sweaters comfortably. Not 100% sure but I heard they might be making some sizing adjustments for the 2025 collection. If that is true, waiting for Black Friday is a bit of a gamble because the sale items are usually non-returnable. It might be more practical to buy one item now, like the NAADAM The Essential Cashmere Sweater, to confirm your size and see how it layers with your other clothes. That way you avoid the risk of buying a full outfit during the sale that doesnt actually fit together well.

I have been buying from them for about six years now and the strategy really depends on what you actually want. If you are looking for basics, they usually exclude those from the big 40 percent off Black Friday sales anyway or they sell out in a heartbeat. I have noticed they focus the biggest discounts on the high-ticket luxury items. Over the years, I have learned that if you want something specific like the NAADAM Cashmere Turtleneck Dress or their heavier outerwear, waiting for Black Friday is worth the risk because you can save over a hundred bucks. But for the standard colors, I honestly just buy them when the 20 percent off codes pop up in October. The stress of watching the stock counter hit zero on Black Friday isnt worth saving an extra ten dollars. TL;DR: Buy your core neutrals now with a standard promo code to secure your size. Save the Black Friday gamble for the expensive pieces like the NAADAM Luxe Cashmere Ribbed Cardigan where the 40 percent discount actually moves the needle.

Hey,

I’ve been watching NAADAM’s Black Friday sales for a few years and, unfortunately, they’ve honestly been a bit underwhelming *if* you’re eyeing specific pieces.

**My experience:**
- In 2023 and 2024, I saw a lot of **30–40% off**, but it was usually either:
- sitewide with **tons of exclusions**, or
- better discounts only on **older/odd colors** and final sale stuff.
- The “good” colors/sizes in core pieces (like the Essential cashmere) **definitely sold out fast** in XS/S/M and common colors (black, camel, grey). I waited one year and ended up stuck with a weird color I didn’t really love just because it was all that was left.

So for you, I’d break it down:
- **If you’re picky about color/fit or want a specific coat:** I’d buy now or at least grab it if you see a 20–25% code.
- **If you’re flexible on color and OK with final sale:** then waiting for Black Friday might be worth it.

Personally, after having issues with stuff selling out and some of the sale items being final sale (and not as good quality as I expected), I’m more cautious now and only wait if I don’t care which color I end up with.

Hope this helps!

I’d wait *only* if you’re flexible on color/size, because NAADAM’s better BF deals (like 30–40% off sweaters, sometimes “buy more save more”) usually hit core styles, but popular sizes in neutrals vanish fast and are often final sale.

If you’re on a tight budget, I’d buy *must-have* colors/sizes now with a smaller promo and only gamble on Black Friday for “nice to have” pieces, because NAADAM’s deeper BF discounts are usually final sale and the good neutrals vanish fast.

Hey, chiming in as someone who’s been wearing NAADAM for 4–5 winters now.

Background: I’ve bought some pieces full price, some on Black Friday, some from their “last chance” section. Over the years, what I’ve noticed is that **the sweaters themselves wear the same** regardless of what I paid… but my *satisfaction* is way higher when I got the exact color/fit I wanted vs chasing the biggest discount.

Why it matters: with cashmere, long‑term value isn’t about saving an extra 10–15% once; it’s about whether you keep reaching for that piece for 3–4 seasons. My NAADAMs that were “compromise” BF buys (wrong color, slightly off size) became lounge-only pretty fast. The ones I waited for in the right fit/color are still in heavy rotation and worth every dollar.

My take / what I’d do:
- **Must‑have coat or specific color/size sweater**: I’d buy now (or with a smaller mid-season promo) and protect the investment by following care instructions (hand wash, sweater comb, etc.). Coats and core colors do sell out in common sizes, and when they do restock, it’s usually *after* BF.
- **Nice‑to‑have extras / experimental colors**: those I’d totally gamble on BF 2025. If they sell out, you’re not devastated.
- If you’re really on the fence, I’d screenshot your cart and watch for pre‑BF promos in early November. NAADAM has occasionally run 20–25% off ahead of the main sale, and the stock is better then.

So IMO: for long‑term ownership, prioritize getting the exact piece you’ll wear for years over squeezing out the maximum BF % off. The math works out better in actual cost‑per‑wear.

Hope this helps!

Hey, coming at this from more of a “market/comparison” angle.

NAADAM’s BF % off (25–40% lately) is honestly pretty in line with the mid-tier cashmere space. If you look at Everlane, Quince, J.Crew, even Uniqlo, their effective BF discounts often land in the same ballpark or better, *but* their baseline prices can be lower and quality is comparable (sometimes better finishing, IMO).

Why this matters: if NAADAM only does ~30% off on core styles and makes a bunch of it final sale, the *real* value vs competitors isn’t amazing. I’ve had issues with NAADAM pilling more than my Quince and J.Crew cashmere, so a “meh” discount doesn’t feel worth the gamble plus potential sellout stress.

What I’d do:
- Track prices now and compare to last year’s BF for NAADAM + 2–3 competitors.
- If the piece is a must-have NAADAM design (fit/color you can’t dupe), buy with a current 15–20% code and don’t wait.
- If it’s just “nice basic cashmere,” I’d honestly shop Quince/J.Crew/Everlane on BF instead and not stress NAADAM’s sale at all.

So, unless you’re set on a very specific NAADAM coat, I wouldn’t hinge your whole plan on their BF. The market gives you similar quality at equal or better net pricing, especially on Black Friday.

Hope this helps!

Hey, so I’m more of a safety-first / low-stress shopper and, in your shoes, I’d *not* gamble on Black Friday for “important” pieces like a specific coat color/size.

My tip: buy now if you’re picky about fit or color, and only wait for BF 2025 on backups or fun colors.

Why:
- NAADAM returns can be stricter around big promos (more final sale, store credit, shorter windows), which makes BF feel riskier if you’re still testing their sizing.
- Popular sizes in neutrals (especially in coats) really do vanish, and then you’re stuck stalking restocks in winter, which is… annoying.

So if these are wardrobe staples you’ll wear a ton, I think it’s “safer” to lock them in now with a smaller code and not stress about sellouts or final-sale traps. Use BF only for “if I get it, cool; if not, no big deal” items.

Hope this helps!

Hey, I’m kind of a DIY / self-serve person with this stuff, so I’d maybe step back from just “wait for BF or not” and look at all the ways to cut the cost.

What I’d do:
1) **Track prices now** – use something like Karma/Honey/Camel-style trackers or even just a spreadsheet + screenshots. NAADAM sometimes bumps “full price” before promos, so you wanna know the real baseline.
2) **Stack small discounts** – sign up for email/SMS, refer-a-friend, student/teacher discounts (if that applies), or first-order codes. A solid 15–20% you can use *when your size is in* might beat a riskier 30–40% later.
3) **Check their sale/“last chance” section** – I’ve seen random colors drop pretty hard outside BF. If you’re flexible, this can be cheaper than waiting.
4) **Use returns to your advantage** – if they’ve got a decent return policy (non–final sale), you might want to buy your must-have sweater/coat now with a smaller promo, then rebuy/price-match if they do something better on BF (only if their policy allows returns and you’re ok with the hassle).

So in your case: if it’s a specific coat color/size you’ll be upset to miss, I’d suggest buying now with whatever stackable discount you can DIY, and only gamble on Black Friday for secondary colors or “nice to have” extras.

Hope this helps!

Honestly I’d base it on your climate more than the exact % off: if you’re somewhere really cold (I’m in the Midwest US), I’d buy core stuff (coat + key sweater colors) now with a smaller promo so you’re actually using them all winter, and only gamble on BF 2025 for “extra” colors. If you’re in a milder place (West Coast / South / warmer EU), you can probably wait, because even if sizes sell out you won’t miss as much real wear time and NAADAM usually does more promos later in the season anyway. Basically: harsh winter = earlier purchase makes better value per wear, mild winter = waiting for BF is a decent bet.
