I hope this isnt a stupid question but I am totally lost here. My brother in law told me I need to get some real tools if I want to build these raised garden beds in my backyard. Im in Austin and the soil is basically rocks so i need heavy duty stuff but when i looked at the acme tools website i almost had a heart attack lol. Everything is so expensive! I thought a drill was like thirty bucks but apparently the good ones are way more. He said to wait for black friday because that is when the real deals happen but i have never shopped there before and i dont even know how it works. Do they do promo codes or is it just automatic?

I have about 500 dollars saved up for this whole project and i really dont want to spend it all on just one saw or something. I saw some people talking about stacking codes on reddit but that sounds like gibberish to me honestly. Im looking ahead to the 2026 black friday sales because i want to be ready to click buy the second things go live. Is there like a mailing list i should be on? Or does anyone know if they usually put out a specific code like BF2026 or something like that? I tried looking for a spot to put a code in the checkout just to see and i couldnt even find the box half the time.

I really need to get:

• a miter saw (i think that is what it is called?)
• a good drill set
• maybe a sander if i have money left

Sorry if this is just common knowledge for everyone here but i am literally starting from zero. I dont even know if acme tools is a store or a brand like in the cartoons. If anyone knows how their black friday stuff usually goes down or if there are secret codes i should be looking for i would really appreciate some pointers... i dont want to miss out and then have to wait another whole year.
