I'm in the market for a new mattress and wondering about Black Friday deals. Has anyone used Google to research the best mattress sales? I'm looking to improve my sleep quality. Any recommendations for specific brands or retailers with great discounts?

Nectar has their best prices of the year right now - $699 for a queen (normally $1299) and they throw in $499 worth of accessories (pillows, sheets, mattress protector). Been eyeing their memory foam mattress for a while.

^ This. Also, I am right there with you... honestly been scouring spec sheets for days because my current mattress is basically a crater and my back is trashed. It is so hard to find a Black Friday deal that actually offers long-term durability rather than just cheap foam that sags in a year. Quick tip: ignore the marketing and check the density. If it is under 1.8lb per cubic foot, itll be a pancake in two years. I have been tracking the Saatva Classic 14.5 Mattress Luxury Firm because the technical build is miles ahead of the budget stuff, but even their Black Friday prices are still making me hesitate.

Just checked - Purple has 25% off their entire mattress lineup right now through Nov 27. The Purple Plus Queen is down to $1,499 from $1,999. Free shipping and returns within 100 days if you don't like it.

When it comes to improving sleep quality, it's essential to consider factors beyond just the price. Look for mattresses that suit your sleeping style (side, back, or stomach sleeper) and preferred firmness level. Some popular brands known for quality and often featured in Black Friday sales include Casper, Purple, Nectar, and Tempur-Pedic.

For retailers, keep an eye on big-box stores like Mattress Firm, Macy's, and Wayfair, as they typically offer significant discounts during Black Friday. Online bed-in-a-box companies also tend to have competitive deals. Don't forget to check out Amazon, as they often have a wide selection of mattresses on sale.

To maximize your savings, consider using price comparison tools and setting up price alerts. Also, look for bundle deals that might include pillows, sheets, or bed frames. Remember to read customer reviews and check return policies, as many companies offer sleep trials.

Lastly, while Black Friday deals can be tempting, don't rush your decision. A mattress is a long-term investment in your health and well-being, so take the time to find the right one for you, even if it means waiting for another sale.
