Hey everyone! So, already thinking ahead to Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2025 for a Dyson Supersonic hair dryer (in black, specifically!). Anyone have any tips on when the best deals usually appear? Last year I missed out, do they typically offer discounts on the black color or just bundles? Any insights would be awesome, where should I be looking? Thanks!

Adding my two cents! OMG I have been obsessed with finding the perfect hair dryer for like six years now! I started with the Dyson but honestly I got super paranoid about the motor longevity after it started smelling a bit hot one morning. I ended up switching to the GHD Helios Professional Hair Dryer and its been absolutely amazing! It feels so much more solid and the safety features give me such peace of mind when I am rushing to get ready. Since you are looking at 2025 deals, here is my little strategy:

  • Skip the direct Dyson site and look for 20 percent off coupons at places like Sephora or Ulta.
  • If you want something thats basically bulletproof, check out the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Portofino. My cousin has had hers for like four years and it still runs like a dream without ever overheating! Safety is basically my middle name now lol, so I always look for those heavy-duty cords and reliable heat sensors. Good luck with the hunt!

I've been super happy with the performance of these newer high-speed motor dryers lately. Everyone wants the Dyson name but you can get like 90% of the tech for way less money if you look at the specs. I grabbed the Laifen Swift High Speed Hair Dryer last year and honestly the brushless motor is basically identical to the Supersonic. It runs at 110,000 RPM and I have no complaints at all, works well every morning. Speaking of high-speed motors though, I actually spent most of my Sunday tearing down my old cordless vacuum because the suction felt weak. Found out it was just a tiny rubber seal that had dry rotted. Its funny how once you get into the technical side of these small appliances you start seeing the same motor tech everywhere. I ended up down a rabbit hole watching repair videos for three hours and ordered a whole new set of precision bits just for that one job. Anyway, definitely check out the Laifen if you want that performance without the Dyson tax, but yeah.

Hey! I totally get the Dyson Black Friday hunt – I've been there! I've tried many times to snag a deal on the black one specifically, and honestly, it's tough. Over the years, I've noticed they rarely discount the standalone black Supersonic. They usually focus on bundles or other colors.

In my experience, your best bet is to watch out for these options:

* **Bundles:** Keep an eye on bundles that include the black dryer with extra attachments. Sometimes, the *overall* discount makes it worth it, even if the dryer itself isn't individually discounted.
* **Refurbished:** Dyson's refurbished section on their website often has the black Supersonic at a lower price. They're certified, so they're basically like new! Just check it regularly.
* **Third-party retailers:** Places like Sephora, Ulta, and even some department stores might offer small discounts or promotions that Dyson doesn't directly offer. But be quick!

Honestly, I caved and got a refurbished one last year, and I'm super happy with it. Good luck with your search! Hope this helps.

Hey! Honestly, black is tough to find discounted. Have you considered the refurbished Dyson site or even looking at alternatives like the Shark HyperAIR? Sometimes they have better deals, and performance is comparable, IMO.

Hey! I get wanting the black one. But, have you considered *why* you want it? I'm thinking about safety here, since it's a hair dryer, you know? I've read some things about electronics having issues, and sometimes black coatings can affect heat dissipation. Maybe it's nothing, but I'd research the safety aspects thoroughly before focusing *only* on the color. Could be worth checking reviews about overheating or reliability specifically for the black version? Just a thought!

Hey! Honestly, for the black Dyson specifically, Black Friday might not be your best bet. Consider setting up price alerts on sites like CamelCamelCamel *way* before November. Sometimes random flash sales offer better value!

Hey! Everyone's giving great advice, but I wanted to throw in a slightly different angle. I was *so* set on the black Dyson too, until I did a bit of a deeper dive into the market. Honestly, I realized I was mostly paying for the *brand*.

So, I ended up comparing the Dyson to a few other high-end dryers – namely the T3 AireBrush Duo and the Bio Ionic 10x Ultralight. The T3 is AMAZING for styling, and the Bio Ionic is seriously fast-drying (and less damaging, IMO). Plus, both often have *better* discounts around Black Friday than the Dyson, especially if you aren't dead-set on black. It's worth checking out reviews comparing features, not just price, to see if another brand actually fits your hair needs better! I think you might be happy with one of them, too.

Just a thought! Good luck with your search!
