I am so tired of looking at these fake-looking early access ads for Black Friday 2026. I just want a decent Ninja for my tiny apartment in Seattle because my stove is broken and I'm trying to stay under $150.
I found a post saying the Foodi 10-in-1 is gonna be $120 at Costco but then another site says the newer 2026 models are actually lower quality than the stuff from last year because of some cheap coating they're using now. I dont want to buy a lemon just because it's on sale. Is there any actual consensus on which Ninja deal is legit this year or are they all just clearing out the bad stock?
Totally agree, rumors are mostly noise. Been looking at specs all morning and I'm really satisfied with these:
I've been through like four different air fryers over the last decade and honestly those quality rumors happen every single year right before the big sales. I remember back in 2023 everyone said the same thing about the baskets peeling. Tbh I'm still using my old Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 8-qt. 2-Basket Air Fryer and it's a total tank. For a small Seattle apartment though, you really gotta watch the counter footprint. That Costco deal on the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 5-qt. Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer is usually the best bang for your buck because their return policy is basically insurance against that cheap coating fear. If it peels in six months, just take it back. I'd personally skip the 2026 ultra-slim models they are pushing and stick to the proven Foodi line. It saves me so much money on my electric bill compared to using a full stove anyway.
@Reply #2 - good point! Unfortunately, most deals this year are just cost-cutting exercises. Quality control is sliding, and many 2026 units feel flimsy compared to older gear. For a tiny apartment, these are better:
