im already trying to plan for late 2026 because prices are getting ridiculous and I need to start saving now if I want anything decent. im totally torn between finally getting a 65 inch LG C-series OLED or maybe just going for the newest Sony equivalent, but then I think maybe I should just blow the 1500 dollar budget on whatever top tier GPU is out by then like a 5090 or 6090.
my constraints:
- $1500 hard budget
- strictly for 4k gaming
- has to be a deal that actually saves me at least 300 bucks
honestly its so annoying how fast this stuff goes out of date and im worried if I wait for the TV the GPUs will just spike again. which one do you think is gonna have the deeper discount come November 2026?

im so hyped for 2026 deals! honestly, you should grab the tv over a gpu because its way more bang for your buck!
- LG C6 65-inch OLED 4K TV usually gets massive discounts like 500 bucks off. it looks amazing!
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 24GB GDDR7 stays super expensive and rarely sees deep sales. i love my oled for 4k gaming, its fantastic. go for the lg!

Just saw this. Honestly, I'm so satisfied with my Sony OLED and it hasnt let me down once. For 2026, keep an eye on the Sony BRAVIA 8 65-inch OLED 4K because those Black Friday cuts are usually deep, like 400 bucks off. It handles 4K gaming perfectly and no complaints about the input lag. If you're worried about GPU spikes tho, grabbing the TV first is way more stable.
