Anyone know when Sheet Music Plus will announce their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales for 2025? Hoping to snag some deals this year. What dates did they usually run the sale in previous years?
If you buy 2+ copies of the same sheet music, you automatically get 5% off - great for ensemble directors! Digital downloads don't have shipping fees and are available immediately, which is perfect for last-minute needs. Follow them on social media for flash sales and limited-time offers that aren't available elsewhere.
Like someone mentioned, that 10% off is a nice teaser, but I've learned to be patient for the bigger November drops. In my experience, I've tried many different sites over the years, and honestly, I usually look at Musicnotes Digital Sheet Music as a solid alternative if the selection on SMP feels thin. Much more reliable than waiting for physical books to ship and hoping the mail carrier doesnt fold them in half... Since I'm pretty cautious about my library, I usually go the DIY route with digital files. I'll print them out on high-quality Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover 80lb paper and put them in a Staples Heavy-Duty 1-Inch Binder. It feels much safer having a physical backup you made yourself vs a flimsy book that might lose its binding. Tbh, once you start printing your own, you dont worry as much about the shipping sales anyway.
Noted!
I check their site mid-November. Last year's 20% off worked well for me.
