Outdoorsy promo code?

Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip using Outdoorsy and was hoping to snag a promo code to save some money on the rental. Has anyone recently used Outdoorsy and come across a valid promo code they'd be willing to share? I've tried searching online, but most of the codes I've found are expired or don't seem to work. I'm looking to rent an RV for about a week in the Pacific Northwest, so a code that works for longer rentals would be ideal. Any tips on where to look for current Outdoorsy promo codes, besides just Googling? Are there specific websites or forums that are known to list them? Thanks in advance for any help!

Did a long trip up through Oregon and Washington last fall and honestly I spent hours hunting for those codes too. Most of the stuff on coupon sites is just junk to get clicks tbh. Here is what I learned about actually getting the price down while I was planning my own loop:

  • I messaged the owners directly. Since you are going for a week, some owners are willing to give a custom discount if you ask nicely and show you have a clean record. It never hurts to ask.
  • Check the insurance tiers carefully. I realized I could save a decent amount by adjusting the coverage to a level I was comfortable with rather than just taking the default high-end one.
  • Watch those mileage limits. One rig I looked at had a lower daily rate but the extra mile fees were huge. The one I eventually booked had a higher base price but included more miles, which ended up being way cheaper for a PNW loop. Good luck with the trip, that area is stunning... you are gonna love it.

ugh seriously i am in the exact same boat right now! ive been hunting for a legit promo code for like three weeks because i want to do a similar loop through the cascades. it is honestly so frustrating how many fake sites there are with dead links... i even tried comparing the fee structures between outdoorsy and RVezy but without a solid discount code the prices are pretty neck and neck. just to help me narrow down what we are looking for:

  • are you looking at a specific build like a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or a Ford Transit van?
  • what kind of off grid specs are you aiming for... like do you need a big lithium bank or just basic shore power? im dying to find a working code too because the daily rates plus insurance are just insane right now!

hey there, just saw this and wanted to jump in because the pnw is basically my second home during the summer. you're gonna have such a blast up there, honestly. before i dig through my old bookmarks for some of the private owner groups i use, are you looking at a drivable motorhome or are you planning on towing a trailer with your own vehicle? it makes a huge difference in which discount avenues actually work tho. one thing i gotta warn you about though is the whole cleaning fee and delivery fee situation. i've seen so many people get excited about a promo code only to realize the owner is charging like 250 bucks just for a 'prep fee' that wipes out all the savings. also, be really careful with the insurance selection. it is tempting to go for the basic tier to keep costs down but those mountain passes can be tricky and i have always been much more satisfied paying a tiny bit extra for the peace of mind. let me know what kind of rig you are eyeing and i might have better info...

Hey there, finding valid Outdoorsy promo codes can be a real pain, I agree. Unfortunately, my experience with them hasn't been as good as expected, and the codes floating around online are often expired. I haven't personally found any reliable third-party sites listing working codes consistently.

However, here's what I'd suggest, based on my planning for a similar trip (though I ended up going a different route – more on that later):

1. **Sign up for Outdoorsy's email list.** They occasionally send out targeted promotions. I received one for 10% off a rental over $500 a few months back, valid for about a week. Check your spam folder, too!
2. **Check Outdoorsy's social media.** Sometimes they post codes there, especially around holidays.
3. **Consider alternatives.** I know you're looking for Outdoorsy codes, but honestly, after some issues with vehicle availability and communication, I switched to RVshare. I found a comparable RV in the Pacific Northwest for about $150/night (slightly cheaper than what I was quoted on Outdoorsy), and the owner was much more responsive. Plus, RVshare offered a first-time user discount of $50.

For a week-long rental, even a small discount can make a difference. I'd also check for any AAA or Good Sam discounts you might be eligible for – they sometimes partner with RV rental companies. Feel free to ask if you need more details on my RVshare experience, I'm happy to share. Good luck with your trip!
