Ive been buying from B&H since the early DSLR days and usually they are great but I am hitting a wall with this Cyber Monday deal. Amazon has the specific lens kit I need for $400 less than B&H right now. I have a $4k budget for this upgrade before my shoot in Philly next Wednesday and I really want to use my Payboo card for the tax savings but B&H isnt showing the lower price.
- must be shipped and sold by Amazon?
- do they ignore limited time deals?
- can I do it over the phone or just chat?
I dont want to miss out on the Amazon stock if B&H is gonna be stubborn about it because I need this gear in hand by Tuesday latest...

Honestly, in my experience over the years, B&H is super strict during Cyber Monday. They usually wont match Limited Time Deals or flash sales. Ive tried getting them to match something like the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens before and they wouldnt budge cuz it was a holiday promo. Better to just grab it on Amazon if you need it by Tuesday. Safety first, dont risk the stock running out while waiting on a chat rep!

I ran into a similar spot trying to get a Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera Body before a big deadline. Payboo is great, but the math doesnt always favor it. If you are looking at a $400 difference on a $4k budget, that discount is 10%. Unless your local tax is higher than that, the Amazon price is cheaper anyway. Some technical bits I noticed:
- B&H strictly requires the item to be Shipped and Sold by Amazon.
- They wont match if Amazon uses those little coupon checkboxes on the product page.
- Calling is better than chat for complex kits, but they are usually swamped during Cyber Monday. Honestly, if you need it by Tuesday, just grab it on Amazon. I once missed out on a Sony Alpha a7R V Mirrorless Camera because I spent too long haggling with support. If Amazon stock is low, dont risk the deadline.
