So I almost got side-swiped yesterday by a guy who didnt even stop and it really lit a fire under me to finally get a dash cam. Since Black Friday 2026 is just around the corner im trying to figure out where the actual deep discounts are gonna be because I dont want to pay full price for something that will be 40% off in two weeks.
Im stuck between the Vantrue N4 Pro because I heard the night vision is killer and the Viofo A139 Pro which people say has better app support but the build quality feels a bit cheaper from what I saw in videos. I also looked at the Garmin Dash Cam 67W cause its tiny but im worried about the heat/cold since I live in Minneapolis and it gets freezing here in November. My budget is strictly under $260 for the whole setup including the hardwire kit and a good high-endurance SD card.
Does anyone know if Best Buy or Amazon usually has the better bundles for these specific models during the holiday sales? Or maybe there is a direct-from-manufacturer coupon I should be hunting for instead of waiting for the big box stores? I really need something reliable before my holiday road trip to see my parents...
> im trying to figure out where the actual deep discounts are gonna be Amazon usually wins on Viofo A139 Pro 3-Channel 4K Dash Cam bundles. It handles cold winters well... dont forget the VIOFO HK4 Hardwire Kit for parking mode. Let me know if you need help.
To add to the point above: be careful with that Garmin in Minneapolis. It uses a lithium battery which might fail or swell in those sub-zero winters. I would suggest the Vantrue N4 Pro 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam since it uses a supercapacitor and has better night specs. Check Vantrues official site for coupons; they often beat Amazon. Make sure to grab a SanDisk MAX Endurance 128GB microSDXC too. TL;DR: Avoid batteries for MN cold; watch brand sites for $200 BF deals.
