Honestly I am so over these prices lately. My current Brooks are basically held together by hopes and dreams at this point and the tread is so thin I almost slipped on a wet leaf this morning which is just great. I have a half-marathon coming up in January and I really need to get into a new pair like yesterday but I refuse to pay $180 for shoes that are gonna be on sale in three weeks. It is so frustrating because every time I go to check out I just get this pit in my stomach about spending that much money when I know the official deals are coming soon.
So I was thinking maybe some of the big retailers are doing that thing where they start Early Cyber Monday or Black November or whatever they are calling it this year. My logic was that if I could find a 2026 model for like thirty percent off now I could actually get some miles on them before the race instead of waiting until the end of the month and then having to break them in during my taper week which is a total nightmare scenario. I checked the usual spots like Road Runner and even some of the local shops here in Denver but everything is still full price or they only have the ugly colors on sale in sizes like 15.
I am looking for something neutral with decent cushion like the Saucony Triumph or even some New Balance but my budget is capped at $120 flat because I have to pay for a flight home for Christmas too. Has anyone actually seen any confirmed early Cyber Monday 2026 links or even just a leak of which brands are doing the early drop? I feel like I am refreshing these tabs every hour and getting nowhere and my knees are legit screaming at me to stop running in these old trashed shoes and I just cant justify the full price right now...
TL;DR: Check specialist clearance retailers now. In my experience, Saucony Triumph 21 Neutral Cushioning is already $110 at some shops. Dont risk a training injury waiting for the official sales.
@Reply #1 - good point! honestly tho, i think waiting for the official cyber monday tag is a bit of a trap when your knees are already hurting. usually, the early deals are just retailers clearing out last seasons stock and you can find that stuff right now if you look. if you really need to stay under that 120 cap, ive had better luck with these:
