In my experience, the sizing on the Free People Hailee Sweater Set Cotton Blend is basically a roll of the dice. I snagged one last year on Cyber Monday thinking I was getting a steal, but the GSM of the fabric felt way off compared to the retail floor model. Its so frustrating when you're trying to stay on a budget and then you get hit with return shipping fees because the garment specs arent consistent. Like, why is a medium sometimes a tent and other times a glove? Over the years, I've noticed the holiday stock feels like a different production run with looser tension in the weave... just venting because I hate wasting money on stuff that doesnt layer right.

I've been a loyal Free People customer for years, and I can confirm that they usually do participate in Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Last year, they offered 25% off sitewide, including their gorgeous dresses. I'd expect something similar this year, but keep an eye on their social media accounts for official announcements. Yes, Free People has confirmed their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for 2024. The Black Friday sale starts November 29 with up to 50% off select styles. Their Cyber Monday deals run December 2 with additional markdowns online.

Yes! Free People is having both Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in 2025, with deals on jeans, sweaters, shoes, accessories, and more. Black Friday falls on Friday, November 28, 2025 this year. I'd definitely sign up for their email list if you haven't already - you'll get notified about the sales as soon as they go live!
