So Ive been saving up for months because my sister is getting married in late December and I really want to treat myself to a nice designer bag to wear for the wedding events. My budget is pretty firm at 2000 dollars which I know is tight for some brands but Im hoping Black Friday 2026 is gonna be my savior. I spent all morning looking at old threads about sales from 2024 and 2025 and honestly Im getting mixed signals.

I read on some fashion blogs that SSENSE usually does up to 50 percent off but then other people on Reddit were saying that the best stuff sells out during the private invite-only sale before Friday even hits. Then I looked at Farfetch and it seems like they just do an extra 20 percent off sale items which might not be great if the base price is already hiked up.

Im really eyeing something from:

• Loewe (specifically a Puzzle bag)
• Prada
• Maybe Saint Laurent if the discount is deep enough

Is it even worth waiting for the actual Friday or should I be trying to get on some loyalty list now to get early access? Im worried if I wait too long everything good will be gone and Ill be stuck with nothing for the wedding. Does anyone know which of these brands actually does the biggest drops or if there are better boutiques I should be watching? Im based in Chicago so I can do in-person too if the deals are better at the outlets but Ive heard those are mostly made for outlet stuff now...
