Which sneaker brands have the absolute best 2026 Black Friday deals because I need to plan my budget like right now? Im torn between Nike, New Balance, and maybe Asics. I only have $300 for the whole year for shoes so I need at least 3 pairs for the gym and walking around Chicago.

Nike usually does that extra 25 percent off but New Balance is way better for my wide feet even if their sales are kinda trash. Should I stick with the Nike member sales or wait for a site-wide thing from Asics or Saucony instead? Im worried if I wait too long the good sizes will be gone...

tbh I would be really careful with Nike if you have wide feet. even with the member sales, their toe boxes can be super narrow and you dont want to be stuck with shoes that hurt just because they were 30 percent off... ngl I would suggest looking at Reebok instead for the gym. they usually do like 50-60 percent off for Black Friday and they are much more reliable for lifting if you are worried about stability. If you want to make that 300 bucks last, keep these things in mind:

  • shop the early access if you sign up for emails. sizes for popular widths disappear in seconds once the main sale hits on Friday.
  • double check the return policy. some Black Friday deals are final sale which is super risky if the fit is weird and you cant get your money back.
  • look for models from last year. they are basically the same tech but way cheaper. You might want to consider checking out:
  • Reebok Nano X4 Training Shoes for your gym sessions. they are super stable and usually drop to like 70-80 dollars.
  • Puma Velocity Nitro 3 Running Shoes for walking around the city. the grip on these is actually insane for Chicago winters when things get slippery.
  • Adidas Adizero SL2 Running Shoes as a solid daily driver that wont break the bank. just make sure you have your account info saved so you can checkout fast because the site crashes are real... I had a pair sitting in my cart last year and lost them because I forgot my password. also, maybe avoid the super hyped colorways? they sell out way faster and usually dont have as big of a discount as the basic ones.

I only have $300 for the whole year for shoes so I need at least 3 pairs been thinking about your budget situation and tbh id be really careful about just chasing the biggest percentage off. i once spent my whole shoe budget on two pairs that were deals but ended up being super stiff and i hated walking to the L in them. if youve got wide feet and need to walk chicago streets, you might want to consider brooks. their sales arent always flashy but the Brooks Ghost 16 Neutral Road Running Shoes are absolute tanks. they usually drop older models down to like 90 bucks around bf. also, for the gym, check out the Under Armour UA Tribase Reign 6 Training Shoes because theyre way more stable for lifting than nikes. if you can find a pair of Skechers Max Cushioning Arch Fit Shoes on sale, theyre surprisingly good for high mileage days on concrete. just make sure to check the return policy even on sale items because getting stuck with shoes that hurt is the worst...

If youre trying to stretch $300 for three pairs, you gotta hit the Saucony or Asics sales early! Seriously, Saucony does these insane 40-50% off sitewide deals that make them way cheaper than Nike or New Balance. You can easily snag Saucony Ride 17 Running Shoes for like 80 bucks if you time it right. Since you mentioned Chicago, you definitely need something durable for those long walks. I've had the best luck with these:

  • Nike Pegasus 41 Road Running Shoes usually drop to $90 during the member-exclusive early access.
  • Asics Novablast 4 Running Shoes are fantastic for the gym and look super clean for casual wear.
  • New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v14 Wide is the way to go for your wide feet, but check the Joe's New Balance Outlet site because the main store sales usually suck. Dont wait for Friday itself! The early access for Nike members usually starts the Sunday before and thats when the common sizes are actually in stock. If you wait until the actual day, youre gonna be stuck with size 15 or neon colors nobody wants. Grab those Asics deals early because they sell out fast!
