Which sneaker brands are actually worth waiting for when the 2026 Black Friday sales hit? I really need to refresh my rotation before I move to Chicago next winter and I only have a budget of about $450 to get at least three pairs if I can swing it. I've been doing some digging and I keep seeing people say that New Balance usually has decent site-wide sales but then I found a couple of older threads saying they always exclude the Made in USA stuff which is super annoying since I was specifically hoping to grab some 990s. Then there is Nike and Adidas where I read that Nike mostly just discounts the stuff nobody wants while Adidas goes crazy with like 50 percent off but the quality can be hit or miss depending on the model. I am mostly looking for stuff that is comfortable for walking a ton in the city so I'm torn between waiting for a big brand sale or if I should look at boutiques like Bodega or Kith instead but I dont know if their discounts are actually better than the main sites.
