Ugh so I am trying to figure out this whole air fryer thing and honestly I am so lost. My old oven is basically dying on me and I keep hearing that Ninja is the brand to get but everything I look at is like 200 bucks or more which is way out of my budget since I only have like 100 dollars saved up for this. I really want to wait for the 2026 holiday sales like Black Friday or whatever but I dont even know where to start looking or if the discounts are even real.

My logic was that if I wait until November I could get a big one for my family of 4 here in Ohio but then I see people saying the good ones sell out in seconds or they raise the prices right before the sale to make it look like a deal? It makes me so mad because I just want to make chicken nuggets for my kids without heating up the whole house. I keep seeing things like Foodi and Dual Zone and I have no clue what the difference is or if I even need all those buttons.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but do the prices actually drop that much? Like should I be checking Target or is Amazon better? I feel like I am overthinking it but I dont want to get ripped off...

tbh i felt the exact same way when i started... it is so overwhelming with all the models. i have tried many different units over the years and ninja is actually worth the hype tho. for a family of four you definitely need the bigger capacity or youll be cooking nuggets in batches all night.

  • Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 8-qt. 2-Basket Air Fryer with DualZone DZ201: this is my top pick. dual zone means two baskets so you cook different things at once. it usually drops near 100 bucks during black friday.
  • Ninja AF161 Max XL Air Fryer 5.5-Quart: slightly smaller and simpler if you dont want the dual baskets. its easier to clean but you cant cook two things at once. target is usually better for ninja stuff in my experience because their black friday ads are consistent. amazon is okay but prices bounce around too much... just stay away from the tiny 4-quart models because they wont feed your whole crew.
