How much can I save during the SeatGeek 2026 holiday sales?

Honestly I am so fed up with these ticket prices right now. I tried getting my sister tickets for her birthday next year in Chicago but the fees literally doubled the price at checkout and I just had to close the tab. It is ridiculous how expensive things have gotten lately and my $400 budget is basically nothing now. I heard they do some decent discounts during the winter months but I am trying to plan way ahead for the 2026 season. Does anyone actually know how much I can save during the SeatGeek 2026 holiday sales? Like is it a real percentage off or just some tiny discount that doesnt even cover the service fees...

I saved 20% using SeatGeek Promo Code 2025 Edition last year! It beats Ticketmaster App Booking Platform fees easily. SeatGeek is fantastic for price, though Ticketmaster has more seat variety. Love it!

Had a moment to think about this more... Like someone mentioned, promo codes can be a nice bonus, but I would suggest being a bit more cautious about banking on them for your 2026 plans. Those holiday sales often come with heavy restrictions or tiny caps that dont really offset the massive service fees you're seeing. I actually disagree that waiting for a holiday sale is the most cost-effective move; usually, the best inventory for Chicago shows gets picked over long before the December discounts hit. Technically, those sales are often more about marketing than actual deep savings. You might want to consider using an aggregator that shows all-in pricing from the jump. I personally find TickPick Ticket App Version 6.0 much better for transparency since they dont tack on extra costs at the very last second. If you are sticking with SeatGeek, use a solid device like the Apple iPad Air M2 11-inch 128GB Space Gray to monitor the Deal Score over several weeks instead of just one day. My quick tip is to set price alerts for Tuesdays or Wednesdays; prices often dip mid-week due to lower traffic. Just make sure to clear your browser cache frequently, as some of these platforms use tracking to nudge prices higher when they see repeat interest from the same user.
