When exactly do the early 2026 Black Friday deals for gym gear actually start?

I saw some sites saying early November but others swear it starts mid-October and its so confusing since I am trying to budget for a Rogue rack. I dont wanna miss out because my garage is empty right now...

> Regarding what #1 said about "Honestly, most of those mid-October rumors are just..." I think theyre right about the timing, tho I remember my first year trying to score deals... I spent weeks refreshing pages in mid-October only to realize the real price drops for stuff like the REP Fitness PR-4000 Power Rack didnt hit until the very end of the month. Last year I saved nearly 400 bucks by skipping the big brand name hype and looking at technical specs like the 3x3 11-gauge steel on some of the "lesser" brands. If youre on a budget, honestly, waiting for a specific date is a gamble. I usually start checking the Deals sections on sites around October 25th. That is when I snagged my Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells 75lb Set for way less than retail. Sometimes it pays to look at the accessories first while waiting for the big rack sales to actually drop in November. Just my experience tho, shipping costs on big racks can eat your savings if you arent careful.

Honestly, most of those mid-October rumors are just fluff. In my experience, the serious gym gear sales dont actually start until the first week of November. Since you mentioned Rogue, be careful because they usually run their Matte Black Friday deals then, but it is often just shipping incentives rather than massive price cuts. I would suggest comparing these two before you commit:

  • Rogue RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack: This thing is bombproof and holds resale value well, but Rogue shipping is notoriously pricey.
  • REP Fitness PR-4000 Power Rack: Generally better value for the money and they offer more attachments, though stock tends to vanish fast once the sale starts. Make sure to keep an eye on your inbox around Nov 1st. You might want to consider having your cart ready early because shipping delays in 2026 will probably be a headache... those lead times get crazy fast.

Quick reply while I have a sec... Regarding what #2 said about "> Regarding what #1 said about "Honestly, most...", I am honestly in the exact same boat as you right now and it is driving me crazy. I have been trying to map out my garage gym since July and the lack of clear info on when these sales actually drop is making it impossible to budget.

  • I have been checking different forums every single morning for weeks and still dont have a solid answer.
  • It is so stressful thinking I might buy too early and miss a massive discount, or wait too long and see everything go out of stock.
  • I am looking at a Rogue RM-3 Monster Rack 2.0 myself and the potential price swings are just intimidating tbh. Ngl I have been dealing with this confusion for months and still feel like I am flying blind. I really hope someone eventually clears this up because my workout routine is totally stalled while I wait for a date that might not even be real.

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.

^ This. Also, had a bit more time to think about this while I was out. You guys are spot on about the timing... mid-October is mostly just noise to get people on mailing lists so they can spam you later. Honestly, if you're stuck on the budget stuff, you should compare the big three before you pull the trigger because they handle Black Friday differently.

  • Titan is gonna be your cheapest bet. Just get any rack from Titan and you'll save a ton compared to the big names. Their sales usually kick off pretty early too.
  • REP is my personal favorite lately. If you want something that looks nice in a garage, just go with basically anything from REP Fitness. Their colors are way better than Rogues basic stuff and the quality is right there.
  • Rogue is solid but like others said, those shipping deals are basically all you get most years. Dont stress too much about the exact day. Most of these companies will price match their own sales if you buy a week early anyway. Just keep an eye on the newsletters starting Nov 1st and you'll be fine. Let me know if you want me to look at any specific setups with you later.
