Which sport brands are actually gonna have the best 2026 Black Friday shoe deals for runners? Im honestly stressing out because I need to grab at least 4 pairs of decent trainers for my kids track season starting in early December and my budget is strictly under $400 for the lot. I saw a few leaks on a forum saying Nike is planning a massive 50 percent off member sale but then another site said Adidas is the only one doing real doorbusters this year so I dont know who to trust.

If I wait until the actual Friday will everything be sold out in standard sizes? I live in a smaller town outside Denver so I have to do all this online and the shipping times are usually a nightmare...

I learned the hard way to be careful with Nike; last year I waited until Friday and my kids ended up with big shoes because everything else sold out. Most people suggest looking at Adidas early access instead tho.

  • Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 Road Running Shoes: Top tier but stock is a nightmare.
  • Adidas Adizero SL Training Shoes: Usually better discounts for your budget. Make sure to buy early so you dont miss out!

Like someone mentioned, waiting until Friday is a huge risk. Unfortunately, I had issues with stock vanishing in minutes last year. If you want to stay under $400 for all four, check these instead:

  • Brooks Ghost 15 Neutral Running Shoes: Super durable for daily track, tho they rarely get deep discounts.
  • ASICS GT-2000 11 Stability Running Shoes: Great support for kids, but their online shipping is painfully slow. Dont stress, you got this!

  • I actually have a slightly different perspective on this! While Nikes are popular, I think you should pivot your strategy toward brands that offer better technical value for that $400 budget. Saucony is absolutely amazing for track trainers! I have been buying for my local club for years and the Saucony Ride 17 Neutral Road Running Shoes are fantastic because they use high-end PWRRUN+ cushioning that holds up way better than budget Nike foam. You should also look at the New Balance Fresh Foam X 880 v13. These are incredible workhorse shoes and usually hit a $75-$85 price point during early November sales. Honestly, waiting until Friday is a huge mistake for sizes! My advice is to target the "Pre-Black Friday" windows starting the Monday before. It is much more methodical and guarantees you wont get stuck with leftovers. Good luck with the season!
