I usually have my sale alerts locked in but all my 2026 early-access bookmarks are dead or behind new paywalls this year. Its super weird.

Need to grab a heavy wool coat for an Oslo trip in December with an 800 budget. Where are you guys seeing the best actual leaks for this years online drops?

I totally get the frustration with those paywalls and broken links lately. Honestly, i gave up on those exclusive leak forums a while back because half the time the links are just clickbait or sketchy. I'm pretty satisfied sticking to the big retailers that have guaranteed return policies. If you're heading to Oslo, you definitely need something that isnt just for show. I picked up a Filson Mackinaw Wool Cruiser Jacket 24-ounce Wool last year and it works so well for heavy wind. I havent had a single complaint about it even in freezing temps. It is super thick and keeps you dry even if there is a bit of wet snow. For Black Friday 2026, I am just watching Nordstrom Online Store and SSENSE Clothing Retailer. They usually drop their private sales for members a week early and it is free to join. No weird fees or anything. If you want something even warmer for that 800 budget, maybe look at a Todd Snyder Italian Wool Cashmere Topcoat. I bought a similar one last season and felt like it was worth every penny. Just make sure you check the return policy before you click buy. Staying with the trusted names keeps me happy because I know if it doesnt fit right, I wont have a headache trying to send it back. Good luck with the Oslo trip, sounds like itll be a blast!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I am satisfied with these reliable coats for Oslo weather:

  • Spier & Mackay Overcoat 100% Wool 550gsm
  • Dehen 1920 Naval Crew Coat 24oz Melton Wool

Just spent hours digging through spec sheets for the 2026 drops! If youre hitting Oslo, you need serious GSM weight. I tracked the Billy Reid Bond Peacoat 32oz Melton Wool and the weave density is incredible for wind resistance.

  • Private White V.C. The Donegall Peacoat 800gsm
  • Schott NYC 740 32oz Melton Wool Peacoat I wore a lighter coat in Norway last year and basically froze... definitely go heavy!
