Been digging into Black Friday deals and honestly every site just pushes Amazon or Target. Looking for a new gaming monitor for like $300 maybe? Idk. The "best of" articles I found feel kinda biased and outdated, not sure if I should trust them. Do you guys use the big sites or are there better retailers?

Amazon is honestly a gamble lately, had issues with returned junk. Stick to B&H Photo for reliability. Just bought the Gigabyte M27Q 27-inch 170Hz Gaming Monitor there and it is actually solid.

> Amazon is honestly a gamble Totally agree! I switched to Newegg and scored the ASUS TUF VG27AQ 27-inch 165Hz Gaming Monitor for $270 last year. The IPS panel colors are absolutely amazing!

Totally agree with the sentiment about Amazon. Shipping on monitors is always a hit or miss gamble. When you have a local Micro Center, honestly, just go in-store. Avoiding the shipping risk is worth it. For around $300, keep an eye out for the LG 27GP850-B 27-inch 165Hz Ultragear Gaming Monitor. Nano IPS panels are significantly faster than generic IPS. Always check their open-box section for extra savings too.
