I am already getting so hyped for my 2026 setup even though it is still a ways off lol. I am finally moving into a bigger place in Chicago and I have been saving up like crazy to do a proper living room overhaul. My budget is around $4,500 and I am specifically looking at a 77-inch OLED—probably whatever the newest LG G series is at that point—and a full Sonos surround system. I have been tracking Best Buy prices for a minute now because I have their membership and I want those points.

I spent way too much time this morning scrolling through old threads and tech blogs. I read on one site that Black Friday is usually the peak for big-ticket items like TVs because they want people in the stores, but then another forum post mentioned that Cyber Monday has actually had better bundle deals lately. Like you might get the same price on the TV but they throw in a $200 gift card or a cheaper soundbar on Monday. This is where I am getting stuck because I dont know if that applies to the high-end stuff or just the entry-level 4K TVs they use as doorbusters.

The thing that stresses me out is the stock levels. If I wait until Monday to see if the price drops another $100 or if a better bundle appears, am I just gonna end up with a sold out message? I remember a few years back I bought a monitor on Friday and then saw it cheaper on Monday but Best Buy wouldnt do a price adjustment because it was a limited time flash sale or some nonsense.

So for 2026 specifically, do you guys think Best Buy is gonna lean harder into the online Monday deals or keep the best stuff for the Friday rush? Should I just secure the goods on Black Friday or is the gamble for a Cyber Monday bundle actually worth the wait?...
