I usually have my Black Friday strategy down to a science but looking at the 2026 outlook things seem kinda weird. Ive been collecting for years and usually Nike or Adidas are the go-to for those 30% off sitewide codes but I heard through the grapevine that a lot of brands are moving away from the massive sitewide discounts in favor of those member only drops that sell out in seconds. Im training for a marathon in London next spring so I really need to stockpile some carbon plate runners without blowing my entire $500 gear budget on just one pair.
Which brands are looking like theyll actually have solid inventory and real discounts for 2026? Are New Balance or Hoka finally gonna join the party or am I stuck fighting bots on SNKRS again...
Ive found success tracking technical specs on older stock to stay under budget. Be careful with those member drops...

Ive been hunting BF deals for a decade now and 2026 feels like a shift for sure. Nike is basically just a bot war these days, so I wouldnt bank on SNKRS for your marathon gear. Honestly, in my experience, if you want carbon plates without going broke you gotta look past the hype brands. Hoka is notoriously stingy with discounts... they barely drop 15% on the flagship stuff. Heres what I usually aim for:
