Is it worth waiting all the way until Black Friday 2026 to snag a deal on the next gen Ryzen chips or am I just being crazy? My current rig is basically a space heater at this point and it crashed twice while i was trying to load discord this morning so I need a replacement like yesterday but I also dont want to buy something now and regret it when prices tank. Im looking at three paths right now and my budget is stuck at exactly $950 for the whole tower since I just moved to a new apartment in Ohio and rent is killer.

• Option A is just getting a 7600x right now since they are cheap and it gets me back to gaming immediately.
• Option B is pushing this dying machine until this November to see if the 9000 series drops at all.
• Option C is trying to limp along for two whole years until the 2026 sales hit for the really high end stuff.

i primarily play tarkov and some video editing for work so i need those extra cores but man the wait seems long. if i wait until 2026 will the performance jump even be that big for the price? id hate to spend 900 bucks now and see it for 400 later but i also cant really work if my pc wont turn on lol... what would u guys do in my shoes?
