Do any of you actually think the big luxury houses are gonna do real Cyber Monday discounts in 2026 because honestly im so done with checking these sites every day and seeing nothing but price increases every few months. Its getting ridiculous and im getting super frustrated trying to plan my wardrobe for my brothers wedding in Switzerland next December. I have about 1200 saved up for a proper coat but if I have to pay full retail its just not gonna happen with the way inflation is going.

I keep hearing these rumors that 2026 might be a reset year for high-end retail but who knows if thats just talk or if they actually care about sales anymore. I looked at SSENSE and Net-a-Porter last year and the sale was basically just leftover junk that nobody wanted in the first place which was a huge letdown. Is it even worth waiting another year for a Cyber Monday deal or should I just bite the bullet now before the prices jump again? I need something high-end for the trip but I refuse to play these games if there isnt gonna be a real discount.

Here is what I have tried so far:

• checking outlet sites for past seasons
• setting up price alerts that never go off
• looking for promo codes that are always expired

If 2026 is just gonna be more of the same overpriced gatekeeping I might just look at vintage instead...
