Im already trying to map out my spending for late next year since we're finally finishing our basement in Seattle around then and I really need to snag a high-end OLED for the wall. Budget is around 1500 so every discount helps. I did some digging and saw some people on Reddit saying Walmart might change how their plus early access works for 2026. Some posts say theyll keep the 7-hour window but I also saw a rumor suggesting they might move to a full 24-hour jump start to compete with Prime. Its confusing because the fine print is super vague about future seasons. Does anyone know if they actually confirmed early access for the 2026 online members yet?

I haven't seen a 2026 confirmation yet. Last year I compared Walmart Plus Membership to waiting, and Plus was way safer for securing my LG C3 OLED 65 inch before stock ran out.

They havent confirmed the 2026 stuff yet, but I been thinking about your basement project because I did something similar last year. Im super satisfied with how my last OLED hunt went tho. I was torn between picking up the LG C4 65-Inch OLED or the Sony BRAVIA XR A80L 65-Inch OLED for my wall. I actually looked at My Best Buy Plus Membership instead of just waiting for general sales. Best Buy is awesome because they cover burn-in, which is a huge peace of mind for an expensive screen. Then theres Costco... their Costco Executive Membership is great for the extra warranty, but their site is a total nightmare during the rush. Tbh, if you want that $1500 budget to go far without the stress of out of stock screens, Id look into the Best Buy option. It felt way more reliable than hoping Walmart doesnt change their rules last minute.

Thinking about your basement project... super exciting! I had a massive win last year because I stayed wired in. Honestly, using a hardwired connection instead of Wi-Fi was a total game changer for me! The speeds were amazing and I didnt drop out once during the rush. I totally get the nerves about the timing tho. If they actually go to 24 hours it would be fantastic for peace of mind!
