I know it is super early but I am moving into a tiny studio in Seattle early 2027 so I am already trying to map out my big purchases for 2026 black friday to save some cash. I am torn between finally grabbing a 77 inch LG G series OLED or just doing a full PC rebuild with whatever the top tier Nvidia card is by then. My budget is capped at 2500 bucks so I cant really do both if I want the high end stuff. The TV would be great for the living room space but the PC is better for my work. I saw some rumors that some retailers might start loyalty programs or locked-in pricing for 2026 soon. Has anyone seen any early bird 2026 black friday sales or schedules announced yet...

Man, you are really planning ahead! I thought I was a prepper but 2026 is a lifetime away in tech years. Honestly, nobody has announced anything specific for 2026 yet. Retailers usually dont leak that stuff until like late October of the actual year. Be careful with those rumors about locked-in pricing tho... those loyalty programs usually just end up being a way to get you to spend more money on smaller stuff before the big sale even hits. Since youre moving into a studio, I might want to consider how much space that LG G6 OLED 77 inch is actually gonna take up. A 77 inch screen in a tiny Seattle studio might be overkill, like sitting in the front row of a movie theater lol. If I were you, I would suggest prioritizing the PC rebuild, especially since it affects your work. By late 2026, you will probably be looking at the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 or whatever the 60 series flagship is by then. Prices for the top tier cards always hover around that 1600 to 2000 dollar mark anyway. One thing to watch out for is that OLED prices usually tank right before the new models drop in the spring, so you might actually find a better deal in early 2027 right before your move. Make sure to keep an eye on the LG G5 OLED 77 inch clearance sales instead of waiting for the Black Friday rush. Stay cautious with those early bird memberships, they usually arent worth the entry fee.

No dates yet but honestly, grabbing an LG C3 77-Inch OLED open-box saved me enough to buy an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super without blowing my budget. It worked out perfectly.

Saw this and had to jump in because I am obsessed with the planning! I did a similar thing when I moved and it felt so good to have the cash ready. My experience with the LG G4 77-inch OLED TV has been incredible, though I will say, moving that thin glass into a tight studio space was terrifying for my anxiety... you really gotta be careful with those panels. Quick tip: for the PC route, keep a close watch on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 price cycles. They usually dip right before the mid-cycle refresh. If you go high-end, dont skimp on the power supply. I always stick with something like a Seasonic PRIME TX-1000 to keep the whole rig safe from spikes. It is way better to have a rock-solid foundation than to risk your 2500 dollar budget on a shaky build...
